5.0 out of 5 stars WOW!, May 1, 1999
This review is from: Confessions of a Hyperdreamer (Secret Studio, Vol. 2) (Audio CD)
Phenomenal recordings, perhaps Bill's best ever (with the exception of "Satellite"). Despite Bill's perennial disclaimer regarding recording conditions (home studio, ancient tape recorder, etc.) sound quality is excellent. The 2 song intro to disc 2 blew me away, with the latter cut "Bird Ornaments" possibly my all time favorite. PS. the CD graphics are supurb, too.

4.0 out of 5 stars Terrific quasi-ambient music; cruddy packaging, September 24, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Confessions of a Hyperdreamer (Secret Studio, Vol. 2) (Audio CD)
Why, why, oh why did this two-disc set have to come out in two individual jewel cases bound by a paper sleeve that you have completely and utterly destroy to get to the contents? That wouldn't be so bad if the sleeve in question didn't have information about the contents not found on the individual jewel-case graphics. Ah, well, no matter. Enclosed are two discs of great techno, ambient or whatever the heck you want to call it. Drum-machines and synths clicking along merrily in the background while, on top, Nelson's guitar leads scurl and bop all over the place. He claims he did it all for fun and that's what it sounds like. Real nice, but lose that outer sleeve!!

4.0 out of 5 stars 'Confessions' is a well produced 2 CD set, July 8, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: Confessions of a Hyperdreamer (Secret Studio, Vol. 2) (Audio CD)
Confessions of a Hyperdreamer is a step in the right direction as far as Bill Nelson's celestial and worldly observations go. His work keeps improving on the production side and his song writing is spell-binding. Only for the dreamers!
