I purchased the Inferno Men's Golf Club Set with Stand Bag, and am pleased with my purchase. While I am by no means an avid golfer, the price for a set of clubs with the bag is great for those casual players or those on a budget. The clubs are well made and comfortable to use for an entire 18 holes. I read a couple of reviews where people were unhappy at the bag color when it arrived (I guess it's random), but my bag was black with silver trim, so I have nothing to complain about there. My only complaint about the bag is that the strap is a backpack style, rather then a single strap style, though I understand that's becoming the norm, and certainly not a reflection on the product offered by this company. The clubs shipped on time, and did arrive as expected, though the shipping cost was a bit expensive. The low expense of the clubs helps to make up for the shipping, though.

Good product, I will recommend this seller.

I purchased this late MAY 2011.

PROS:
- CHEAP. Cheapest set I've seen anywhere. AWESOME for REAL beginners (people who have never swung a club at all).
- Irons seem to have a bigger face and thus better for beginners.
- THE SET COMES WITH A DRIVER, 3 WOOD, PW, 6-9irons. The description is inconsistent and suggests there is no driver. This is incorrect, there is a driver (albeit steel shafted and not very good). AND it comes with the bag which is pretty nice.

NOTE - to buy a bag on it's own of equal quality at just a local Walmart, it will cost you about $30; so for a set to come w/ a driver, irons, and a bag for $99, it is an EXCELLENT deal for beginners.

CONS:
- The grip is thin/small. As in if you have big hands it will feel very uncomfortable. I'm a 24 year old guy at 5'9" and my hands feel uncomfortable because the grip on the shaft is not thick enough. I used my friend's Callaway irons and the grip is significantly thicker and feels much better. (The length is fine for me)

- One grip was misaligned. If you follow the alignment markers on the 9 iron grip, it is actually a few inches off center. This can be easily adjusted for, but I guess you get what you pay for.

- 3Wood head snapped off after about 20 shots. NOTE - this was not due to MY fault, it was a manufacturing quality issue - my friend who golfs consistently in the 80's was using it at the driving range and it snapped off. This means the club was not being chunked into the ground or swung like a baseball bat into the ground.

HOWEVER, being a TRUE beginner, you probably will have no use for the 3wood.. You should be working on your form at the range and probably working the irons. IF you're planning on hitting the GOLF COURSE off the bat, I would recommend you getting a USED set of irons/drivers (Callaway, Taylormade, etc)


CONCLUSION:

If this is going to be your very first set and you have not hit a golf ball before or cannot hit a ball over 25 yards, then this is DEFINITELY a good deal for you. If you already can knock a ball 100+ yards and are looking for a set to actually go to the golf course with, then go for a better set.

Being a first time golfer, I wanted something that was inexpensive till I learned the game and was sure that I want to keep on golfing.
But when I received this set I was very happy to see that it not only looked good but also felt sturdy and not cheap in my hands.
Trying it out on the golf course, I was reassured what a wonderful value I have in my hands. Seeing this, my two other friends have also ordered the same sets themselves.
I would recommend this to any first time buyer till you get the feel of the game and then later move on to more expensive models.

I recieved them quicker than I expected. I have hand me down clubs I purchased from a garage sale. They were nice for beginner clubs. My avid golf partner said get something with new technology. I didn't want to spend too much but I wanted something decent. I read the reviews and went with this set. Once on the course I noticed a huge differnce in my game! The 3 and 5 woods ( my average distance 225+ )are great with flex in the shaft. 3/4 hybrid ( my average distance 185+ )which I wasn't expecting is great, something new for me and adds a new dimention to my game. Pitcher is awesome great loft and now I'm pitching better some older guy at the course. I still need to get the hang of my irons ( 56789), controlling my distance, but for the price I think I paid 100+, don't remember but it changed my game for better allot better. Now it does not have a fancy bag,but it's basic, but your really not buying the bag. But the clubs have the new technology and are light in weight. You will see a change in your game. Good luck tee'em high and hit'em long.

Bought these as a gift for my boyfriend. Clubs arrived promptly. He's taken them out a few times and raves about them. He is a beginner golfer so this was a great set for the price.

I read some of the other reviews where people complained that the 3W broke at the range - we'll it happened to me. I broke both the 3W and 5W - the heads flew off into the range! I'm not a hack either - I hit about the same as the average joe.

Also: there is no driver in this set, it's a 3W and it's a Ladies club too! It reads 'Ladies Flex' right along the side.

The irons are rock-solid though and putter feels very responsive too. All in all this is a pretty good purchase considering how much you're paying.

After 4 years not so much as picking up a golf club, I decided to get back into the game and needed a new set. I am a casual golfer and will probably play 1-2 times per month. I took this set out this weekend and was very pleased with the quality of the clubs and the bag, given the price. If you are just starting out in golf or getting back into the game, this a great set of clubs and bag for the right price!

great starter set you will be able to get a good grasp of the game with this set and what a deal

This is my first set. The price is great for beginners. I have used them for only a few rounds, and have really enjoyed them. Last round, 12 hole - my driver over flexed and the head snapped and flew off as a rounded my swing.
Set has a 1 year warranty - so replacement should not be an issue. I look forward to getting back out with them.
