To understand That God Would Do Anything to Save Your Soul,

This review is from: Confidence in God (Paperback)
Dietrich Von Hildebrand (DVH) writes about the basics in life in a very clear and uplifting way. Life is linked completely to God and the divine. DVH ties everything to Christ's love and our attraction to God. This book will help any Christian (especially Catholic) who worries about his/her salvation. It provides theological reasons why one should not worry.
It may also help to understand the Catholic Church's teachings on grace, salvation and faith. It may be a link to unite you more closely with your Protestant friends who believe in faith-alone or grace-alone. Although DVH does not espouse the Protestant ideas of "alone", he helps one see that Christ is the Hound of Heaven and wants your soul. We should have confidence knowing that we are not on the journey to heaven alone. This book is selected section of Transformation in Christ: On the Christian Attitude, by DVH.
