The Confident Woman is a great book for Christian women who feel a calling to do more in their lives (regardless of their age). Joyce leads you through claiming your confidence, becoming bold without being overbearing, and overcoming fear in order to succeed in life. In the beginning of the book she covers Adam vs. Eve issues and weaves the message that men and women are and should be partners not enemies. Keep your bible with you for this book as you may want to cross reference, although most biblical passages are included in The Confident Woman, some are only mentioned to be referenced.

This is my second book by Joyce Meyer--my first was "Battlefields of the Mind," which I still use as a reference/text book! Joyce has a way of teaching God's Word that is practical and easy to apply to our every day life. "The Confident Woman" is another daily guide. But, what I liked most about this book is that it puts revolutionary feminism into a Godly context. Joyce is awesome! "The Confident Woman" is a book that has something for every woman--whether you see yourself as a liberated woman or whether you see yourself as oppressed by society and/or by men, your mind will be renewed by the Word that Joyce uses to minister God's love. In her chapter entitled "Setting The Record Straight," Joyce boldly states that: "I believe that Satan has methodicaly taken centuries to build wrong thinking about women into the minds of society. This wrong thinking has caused women to be mistreated, and in turn, has caused women to lack confidence." This book is a must read! Be blessed!

This is one of the best books I've read in a long time. Joyce Meyers is one of my favorite authors now. No matter what situation you find yourself in, her books and this one in particular, will teach you a lesson to overcome and face, with faith, whatever is currently in your life. The Confident Woman made me think and gave me renewed strength to actually become a confident woman.

Excellent book. Gives good information and strategies to help women become grounded and increase their self-esteem and acquire godly self-confidence. I highly recommend this book to women who are struggling with self-identification and also for women who may not suffer from lack of self confidence.

This book helped me regain self-confidence after I had been socially isolated because of a serious illness. With Great Mercy Joyce's approach is fresh, and she sites her own shortcomings as she writes. Regardless of what we've endured, we can be confident that God will bring us through it. This was my first introduction to Joyce, even though I am a Christian woman. I'd never read any of her books or seen her television program "Enjoying Everyday Life." But now I'm looking forward to much more from her!

I believe Joyce truly has a gift for writing, teaching and preaching! She's honest, truthful, practical and bold in her message. If you hunger for God, and know you're not living the kind of life that you could be, you will be blessed by this book! It's inspirational and encouraging, filled with scripture, and a message of hope! Joyce's style is down to earth, clear, and applicable to today! She uses examples of women from all walks of life that choose to live courageously, and follow Jesus.

I plan to re-read this book again (later this year) and gain even more insight, as well as other Joyce Meyer books! She's really terrific!

Reading Joyce Meyer's books are so 'nutritional' for the soul. No matter where you are in life, when you sit down to read her words, you can feel the truth. She is very inspirational and powerful. After reading this one, I purchased another one of her books entitled; In Pursuit of Peace.
Not only is this one of the best books I've read, but it's one of those books that you want to reread, highlight and purchase for someone else.
Personally, I think Joyce is writing directly to me! Enjoy ~

A good material piece for every women who wants to achieve great confidence in herself. This book will inspire you to take the next step in beliving in yourself. Joyce Meyer basically captured the true meaning of fear, and simply challenges us move on and do it with fear because we will never know what the outcome will be if you don't move forward to face the fear. Remarkable reading. Great holiday gift for that special female that you know could be ready for the next phase in her life, but have fear.

I am in the process of change and found this book to be honest and sincere. Joyce Meyers brings truth to the reader. All the reader has to do is be willing to receive Joyce's message on what she has learned in her difficult life and apply the necessary changes to become confident.
I bought three books for my three girls who are in their young 20's and I too hope this book will bring confidence Joyce speaks about in a way that I find difficult at times to speak about with my girls.
You can open up anywhere in the book at any time and apply it to your life in a positive way.

This down to earth and biblically based teaching is groundbreaking. It's foundational truths will minister to the hearts of women in every stage of life. The chapters will inspire and release women to go forward with the the assurance that I AM is the confidence within them. Joyce Meyer uses personal experience and revealed scriptural teachings to give woman permission to step out in faith to pursue their unique purpose. I gave this book to every woman on my Christmas list this year.
