"Conflict: Desert Storm 2", just like the original "Conflict: Desert Storm", is a very well done military simulation for practicing basic combat infantry tactics, while still keeping the game really fun on a shooter-type of level. In other words, this is not a mind-numbing run-and-gun game -- you must think how you and your squad should assault or defend various positions; or the enemy will kill you and all of your men. There are not many games out there with this winning combination of realism, excitement, enjoyment, and playability: This is one of the few that successfully combines all of these elements.

this game is great the graphics are awsome and the challenges are tough but fun. i would recomend this game for anyone

Graphics are little behind "good" for a 2003 game. But other than that, awesome gameplay. The thing I hate most is that there is no online play. I always play my brother over the LAN and now we can't do it. I can't give you another alternative game because I don't know one. If you play games for the campaign, then this game is for you. If you're an onliner, then get another game. The campaign is still fun though.

The game is very much the same as the original game, with a few more details and enhanced graphics. The controls are the same, the game layout is the same, and the fun is the same.

I enjoy the game and like the layout of the missions as well as the squad command features. I like games were the missions are difficult without the controls being the challenge.

There is a lot of enemy soldiers to kill, tanks to destroy, and C-4 charges to set. Not recommended for children.

For some reason, after loading for so long did not work on my computer. Very old version as well and does not work on any younger than XP versions of windows.

CDS2: Back to Baghdad is a fun game, but it lacks multiplayer, any type of customization, and next gen graphics. There are 10 levels that range from cities to oil storage/pumping facilities. The level design and enemy AI are fair and the weapons have good sounds to them. The player(s) control four soldiers that each has a weapon and ability specialty. The game controls ok for pc, but I believe it is better on a console. Overall I give this pc game a 5, because it can be fun at times.

I had this game years back for the PS2 and I decided to buy it for PC. Let's just say.. oh how things have changed. This game is nice and sets a nice tone for war-games but other than... it's just another mass-product of war. The novelty wears off because all there to do is shoot and hide.

Its old def not as fun on PC though ..you cant use a controller (i cant figure it out anyways)

That's why gaming PC these days should be D/boot with 7 and xp. Works great and reminds me of conflict Vietnam. PS2 game. But with way better graphics. A+

I was very disappointed with the sequel to the first Desert Storm which I love. The graphics are not nearly as clean as the
first one. I realy have enjoyed playing the original Desert Storm. I had hoped it would just be more scenerios. Maybe if I had
not played the original I would have liked this one more.
