GREAT ALBUM!,

Falling Cycle is one of the craziest bands out there. This album contains the breakdowns of Hatebreed, the vocals of 18 Visions, and the riffs of Throwdown. Any fan of hardcore should get into this band. And if you get a chance, you should go see these guys live (these guys put on a great show!!!)...

A metalcore gem in a sea of stones,

From the moment I heard them on a facedown sampler back in February, I have been eagerly anticipating this album. When I got it I was blown away. It has an awesome layout and great artwork, much different than a lot of the other facedown bands. The album starts out with a clip of the emotional song "O Fortuna" composed by Carl Orf, and thats followed by a quick clip from the movie gadiator. Then comes the music "To you I dedicate these empty words..." The intensity of the album lets up only for the soft song "I still dream" followed by a gunshot bringing the intensity right back and not letting up until the album ends.Falling Cycles combines the riffs of bands like Darkest Hour with Throwdown-esque vocals, and some of the best breakdowns in hardcore. And somehow they still manage to write songs that blend these elements well without forcing it. This cd is amazing, and is really worth checking out.
