Classic Congolese rumba revisited. This is the music as it sounded in its formative years in the 1950s, performed today by fine neo-traditional bands Rumbanella Band and Victoria Bakolo Miziki and two of the great surviving singers of that era - Antoine "Likembe Geant" Moundanda and Wendo Kolosoy (Wendo will be touring in the US in 2004).
