Product Description

These graduated prep tubes can be spun in the same centrifuges as 15mL tubes, offering an alternative to using 15mL conical-bottom tubes for volumes less than 5mL. The smaller size allows for only the pipet tip to be inserted into the tube rather than the pipet barrel. Tubes withstand boiling, autoclaving to 120 degrees C (248 degrees F) for 15 minutes at 15psi, and centrifugation to 14,000rpm. They are also suitable for freezing to -90 degrees C (-130 degrees F). There is a frosted marking area on the attached cap for sample identification. Volume: 5 mL Maximum RCF: 5200 g
