It's the old CONNECT 4 game the way you remember it, but now it's a bigger and fast-flying challenge! You can win at CONNECT 4, but it depends on which kind of checker challenge you take on! In all 3 games, try to land your checkers on the game board with your launcher! What will you do when the launch challenges come? Load your launcher, fire your checkers and do your best to make them connect on the board! Be the CONNECT 4 champion!

Launcher

Launch your checkers.
Kids playing

Fun for the whole family.
Frantic Launch Play
The Basic Frantic Launch game challenges you to be the first to land four-in-a-row. The Championship Frantic Launch is your chance to flip to 5 points first and win. And the Advanced Power Launch is power checkers for maximum fun! Start with Basic Frantic Launch, where all you have to do is launch your checkers at either color tray. When you get 4 of your checkers in a row on the board, yell "CONNECT 4" and the game will stop. If you really made it, you win!

How It Works
The Championship Frantic Launch goes in rounds, and you start launching your checkers in your round. You get 2 points for each checker you land in the top tray, and 1 point for every one you land in the bottom one. The round ends and you win if you get 4 in a row or score 5 points! The Advanced Power Launch game works the same way as the Championship Frantic Launch. But you'll use your normal checkers and your Power Checkers to control spaces! Different powers will activate depending on what happens when you launch – you might get to go again, remove all checkers from a row that you land a checker in, or remove all checkers from every space that touches where it lands!

Getting Started
Choose your checker color and gather your checkers on one side of the board while your opponent does the same on the other! Now your next choice is which game you want to play: the Basic Frantic Launch? The Championship Frantic Launch? Or the Advanced Power Launch? Whichever you choose, you'd better practice your mad launching skills for a few minutes to figure out how to launch each checker high or low!

What's In The Box?
Includes 21 red checkers, 21 yellow checkers, 4 pillar pieces, 2 clear grid trays, 1 red checker launcher, 1 yellow checker launcher and instructions.

A whole new way to play CONNECT 4.

Highly Recommended Multi-Age Family Fun.
Penn Smith
It does take practice to figure out the launchers, and it can get rather crazy with pieces flying everywhere but overall it's a really simple game to set up and play.
Eohany
It is easy to assemble and stores nicely in the box it comes in.

Immediately upon seeing pictures of this game, I thought it'd be one of those many board games that didn't work like it should. Think about it- the classic Connect 4 is just a tray that stands up, and you drop in yellow or red checkers, trying to get four in a row. It's a simple concept that anyone can understand and play. But this? Two different trays that are laying down, the ability to block or take the opponent's spot, and you have to -launch- your pieces?! It sounded insane! And yet...this game is incredibly fun and addictive. Connect 4 fans will more than likely enjoy this version, but if you're the kind of person who doesn't like games of chance, it might not be as fun.

Playing the game is easy- one player is red, the other is yellow. You place your rings on the little launcher, press down on it, and let go, launching the ring into the top or bottom tray. Whoever gets 4 of the same colored rings in a row wins. 'sounds easy enough, but if you play by the instructions, both players are supposed to launch their pieces at the same time, and that makes things hectic. Rings flying all over the place, bouncing off eachother, landing on top of the other player's piece and taking their spot, I love it. Both trays are in use, and if your opponent isn't paying attention to the bottom one, you can take a quick victory by getting four in a row down there. There are other ways to play, mentioned in the instructions, that include clearing out entire rows with specially marked rings, and these ways are fun too, but I like the basic method. You have to move the launcher around to get just the right spot, but even then, your ring could bounce off the tray, or land between spaces and not go in any of them.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
This game was a lot more fun than expected! My husband and I tried it out while our son was asleep (saving it for Christmas!) and we really had a lot of fun! I love that it is a fun and exciting twist on a simple, classic game.

There are three different games to play - the first is a free-for-all, where both players launch their checkers at the same time. Whoever gets 4 in a row first wins. You can launch them on the top or the bottom. The launchers are surprisingly easy to aim with. Game 2 is a variation on the basic game, where the game is played in rounds - whoever wins each round wins points, depending on if their 4-in-a-row is on the top level or bottom level (more points for the top level). Whoever gets to 5 points first wins.

My favorite game is the 3rd game, as it has more strategy involved. Players take turns shooting a checker (rather than doing it at the same time) and try to get 4-in-a-row. For this game, you use the "power checkers," which each have a special power - for example giving you another turn or clearing all the checkers from certain rows.

This is a simple game that is easy to play and is fun for the whole family! Highly recommended.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
Connect Four is one of the great games of childhood. This takes it to a new level. Using launchers, players launch the chips into the two level of the board. Though the plastic is flimsy and it is somewhat cumbersome to put together, the overall product is good. The product might be improved if the launchers were attached to better assure being close to the target.

The quality of the plastic makes me wonder how long this game will last. With children, the structural integrity of any toy is always challenged. I am not convinced that this game will not be easily broken. However, the games will be fun while it holds up.

Vine Customer Review of Free Product ( What's this? )
I got this game through the amazon vine program. I thought it would be a great game to play with my son.

When you get the game some small amount of assembly is required. You need to snap the legs on the plastic plates. I was disappointed to find that the plastic plates of cups are pretty low quality; they are made out of packaging plastic not solid clear plastic. Once the whole thing is assembled it is pretty wobbly.

The launchers themselves are easy to use. My 4 year old son had no problem using them. Aiming for the cups is a whole 'nother deal. It is not that hard to get the rings launched into the cups, but it is very hard to aim and get them to go where you want.

The game is pretty simple (just like the original connect4). They have a couple different variations of games that you can play. It is hard to keep the game fair though, since people need to sit at the exact same angle and distance to have equal chances of hitting the cups.

It was fun to launch the rings, but the fun quickly wore off. We played this one night and haven't taken it out since. I think the cats had more fun chasing the rings across the floor than we had collecting them off of the floor.

Overall okay but not my favorite game. If you want an action-based game to play with kids try Ker Plunk Game or Hungry Hungry Hippos.
