I absolutely love the book CONNECT! Keith has hit another home run. When we think about success we minimize the importance of attitude. It is truly clever how the authors used this powerful acronym to help us think about what we can do to get to the next level. The most beneficial chapter for me was "Open up to Opportunities". It helped me to think of ways that I can connect to opportunities and be resourceful. The metaphor of the pond shed light on the need to constantly update the water in our lives! I love the quick and life changing steps and business examples (IBM and Verizon, etc.) If they can open up to opportunity so can I. Thanks Keith and Hattie for sharing your wealth of knowledge. It is time we learned the power of CONECT!

To me, this book is a great resource for developing a strategy to connect teams to a common purpose. Keith's insights on how to create an emotional link between a leaders purpose and their people is the heart of the book. A memorable section is on the "Rewards of Integrity" and the choice we make as leaders between character and compromise.

Keith has definitely done it again. Yes, I agree with the review that says it is for sales. But I disagree with everything else. We are all salespeople trying to sell ourselves and our attitudes. Keith wants us all to connect to ourselves, and the world around us, and this is a book that shows us how. Perhaps I am a bit naive, but that is not so bad a thing to be in this day and age. I am naive enough to believe that we are all connected and once we realize that and act on it, we not only improve our lot in life, but encourage others to do the same. Thank you Keith for continuing your very important work and for connecting, at least with me.

CONNECT is very well written and contains plenty of wisdom necessary to succeed in business as well as life.

Keith Harrell uses CONNECT as an acronym to get his points across.

C - is for commit to win. Unless there is a total commitment, most importantly with yourself, your efforts will fall short.

O - is for open up to opportunities. Too many people have a closed mindset. If you want to succeed, open to opportunities.

N - notice what is needed

N - navigate by your purpose. You need to understand and be guided by your purpose in life.

E - execute ethically

C - challenge your challenges. Don't run from your challenges. Challenge them.

T - transcend beyond your best.

Then he gives us the BE - Attitudes to go with each CONNECT point. Before you DO, you must BE and the BE - Attitudes are a good reminder of what we should be. If we simply try to do, we will not succeed. There needs to be alignment of who we are with what we do. Therefore, the BE - Attitudes.

Harrell not only gives us the CONNECT points and the BE -Attitudes, he goes into great detail explaining the importance of the points and how they effect our performance and success.

The book is filled with interesting stories that bring home the points. At the end of each chapter is a series of exercises designed to implement the theory of the book.

If you truly want to succeed in business and in life, you must connect with others. No one is an island. Keith Harrell does a great job of giving you the tools to connect. You still need to do the work yourself.

If you would like to do more, be more, feel more, and give more than you ever thought possible, then spend an evening with Connect. This book will empower you to draw the kind of connections that inspire you to do your best and feel your best doing it. A practical, warm and powerful tool that connects you to a universal law - the law of "Connect." Much gratitude to Keith and Hattie for sharing this gift!

After reading "Connect" I realized that I had been relating to people, but was failing to connect. "Connect" gave me practical applications on how to connect not just in business and personal relationships, but with everyone I come in contact with. This change has enabled me to perform at a higher level. I highly recommend it!

I love this book! It is practical, well written, and packed with value. I'm a big fan of Keith Harrell's books. I've read all of them. Now I'm delighted to be introduced to the writings of Hattie Hill. I asked every one of my employees to read CONNECT this week so we, as a team, can discuss the insights it holds.

The book CONNECT really made me think about my everyday life. Keith Harrell gave me ideas on how to connect with myself and then with others. Since reading CONNECT, I now have the motivation to committ to win, which I have not had for a while.

I don't normally read "self improvement" books but on the recommendation of a friend I gave this one a chance. Keith Harrell grabs your attention from the very beginning in a thorough and engaging style. It makes the point very clearly on how "success" in life is closely associated with the 'connections' you make between people and the circumstances you find yourself in. The important part is that it made me stop and think. I thoroughly enjoyed the book (and remember, these types of books aren't my normal genre!)and now I am looking for the rest of the work by this author.

For anyone who needs to connect with others - and that is every single one of us - this book by Keith Harrell and Hattie Hill is an invaluable resource for growing your ability to build positive relationships with others, in both your personal and professional life. It is filled with practical insights that will lead you to success with people!
