We have enjoyed playing Connect Four Fun on the Run, but it's flimsy construction. The collection trays pop off repeatedly. In addition, the columns that store the checkers have lids that snap shut presumably to keep the checkers in place, but they continually pop off as well leaving checkers scattered in the box. The checkers are small, and are easy to lose. Hasbro doesn't offer replacements for the checkers, so you really have to be careful when playing. On the other hand, the price is so reasonable, it's entertaining, and I think instead of buying a duplicate I would buy the travel folio version with zip-up pouch.

Overall, I recommend this toy, but strongly suggest the game be stored in a plastic bag, as it doesn't hold up well to the bumps and bruises of travel with the trays, and lids popping off, and the checkers rolling all over the box.

My two oldest children, ages 7 & 8, played this game last year in their after school program. Santa brought it this year for Christmas....and what fun!! They love to play, and it really challenges them to develop strategic thinking skills. Win or lose, they love to play....best yet, just about every game is quick! So it is not unheard of to play ten games in one sitting. Great fun...and cheap!!!

This is a good game with plenty of re-play value. The travel addition is small and light and helps with long plane trips. I could quibble... the quality of the unit isn't great - it can be hard to get the pieces out after a game and the little pieces are small and hard to handle and can get lost. But why quibble? It's small and light and cheap and FUN.

Of all the travel games I found, this is the most reached for. Plays just like the full sized game ([I question needing the full sized game after this playing this one]). The tray is a little flippy but having the pieces store in the sides is a great idea. Use it in a hotel, car, train, plane, wherever !

If you buy one travel game, this should be it.

Great for trips the kids love it. We also take it along when we go out to eat to occupy the kids.

I am 33, and that is the age I first EVER played this game. I saw it for dirt cheap at Target ( $5 if that) and played it a few times with my child. I LOVE this game. I would not say it is educational, but it DOES require strategy, excellent kind, or someone can win all the too easily every time. I love this travel size enough to not miss the convention size, and when you are on the tightest budget, you go for what you can. You use the sides of the game to hold the checkers, and comes out real easy one the bottom of the sides. In fact, you keep the checkers there while you play, and easily take one out at a time, and store them there when you are done, and should not fall out at all!

The flimsy blue bottom parts make this game frustrating, even for older kids. Don't waste your money. We could barely keep it working upright at home, let alone on the road!

We just returned from a month in Europe and this fun on the go Connect Four was sooo handy on the plane as well as at our lodgings. Our kids love this game and so do we. Its design makes it very difficult to lose any of the pieces. It's wonderful. We highly recommend it.
