5.0 out of 5 stars Connect to an Excellent Career Resource, March 23, 2007
This review is from: Connect to Your Future (Paperback)
"Connect to Your Future" is an excellent resource for anyone who desires to position themselves for success more effectively within a corporate environment. This book is a must-read for recent college graduates and other new entrants to the job market as it will dramatically reduce their learning curve on a myriad of critical success factors (i.e., effective networking, leveraging a mentor relationship). However, seasoned professionals will also find gems within "Connect" that will enhance their careers if applied as described by the author.

"Connect to Your Future" is an easy read in which its author demonstrates her depth of knowledge of a highly successful organizational development professional while delivering each message with accessibility of a close friend. With "Connect", Belknap handles her topic expertly and concisely to the great benefit of all who read it.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Great Handbook of Practical Advice, June 30, 2005

(REAL NAME)
This review is from: Connect to Your Future (Paperback)
This compact publication is just the ticket for those new to the world of work. It offers great practical advice for moving your career forward regardless of what field you are in. It is very readable, logical and right on target. Lots of helpful hints and useful strategies to help the beginning professional get a better grip on how to be more successful and also how to be a better employee! I recommend it to anyone just starting out in a new career or for those who have been out of the labor market for a while and are a tad rusty in how best to acclimate themselves to a very competitive workplace. J. Frasier, Ed.D., Director, Continuing Education, Eckerd College, St. Petersburg FL
