I'm a long distance grandmother and well-experienced computer user. In addition, I was a mom to grandkids living far from their grandparents so I have the benefit of understanding the issues from both sides. I didn't find too many new ideas in this book, but that's probably because I've "been there, done that" for much of my adult life. The tips are nicely presented and the unique stories gathered from grandparents who are working to stay in their grandkids lives across the miles are excellent. I'd recommend this slim paperback to new grandmothers and mothers to read and share so they can work as a team to build a relationship between the generations despite living far apart.

I bought this for my mother in law for Mother's Day and then went back and ordered one for my dad for Father's day! It's got a lot of neat things esp. for grandparents that are not living too close to their grandchildren.

This book was great for me. I have 3 grandchildren and they and their parent live out of town. I am also disabled so, it's not easy going to visit them as much as I'd like.
Thanks for helping me my grandchildren!!
