Connecticut Cooks for Kids is a compilation of recipes submitted by childcare providers throughout Connecticut. Over 100 recipes from people who really do cook for kids. We've tested and tasted the recipes and analyzed them for nutrient content and Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP) meal pattern contribution. Many of the recipes provide a hands-on nutrition education experience for preschoolers as well as lots of fun eating! This cookbook is a must-have for teachers, parents, child care providers and anyone who works with and feeds children.

Authors Shanley, Thompson and Fiore are all registered dietitians and nutrition educators in Connecticut.
