I agree with the first reviewer about this album sounding a bit more mature and less fantasy driven than their first; which I really love and still listen to all the time in my car, on my phone and at home.

This shows that they can grow and change the mood, but still keep that beautiful aura and wonderful feeling of life and energy from their songs and lyrics. The Green Children did not disappoint in any way on this new album and if you loved the first one you will really enjoy Connection!

I absolutely recommend picking this one up!

The Green Children are absolutely amazing. Their first release (Encounter) is something that I still play frequently to this day. Encounter was a great album, its only flaw was that one or two of the songs were relatively cheesy but the album overall was outstanding.

"Connection" gives us a more mature Green Children, relying less on the fantasy storytelling of the first album. While that was a fascinating element of "Encounter," "Connection" gives us a more mature sound but with all the elements of their sound that made them famous in the first place. It's the perfect formula; introduce new elements of your sound to make it fresh, but retain the underlying formula that sets you apart from other artists.

Few artists are able to produce a good second album. However, as good as this album is, I still think you should own both their first record (Encounter) as well as this one. There are memorable songs on the first release, as well as this one. If you buy just this album or their first, either way you'd be missing out.

Normally I like to list standout songs, but I think each song stands out on their own. With their first record, there were 1-2 songs I didn't care for. But with Connection, I enjoy every song. Overall, it's a very consistent release.

My only complaint is that the album seems very short. It consists of 10 songs, but each of them are really good. The run time of the album is not short, but it just seems that way because after the last song I was left wanting more (this is a good thing). Adding a few acoustic or live tracks to the end of the album would've helped, but no big deal.

Overall I say this is definitely a buy.

Milla and Marlow are incredible artists! I would recommend their music to anyone. Her voice is so unique and complicated I can barley sing along with her, which is not a bad thing!

This has got to be the best CD they have come out with to date. The true Highlight of the whole thing has got to be the last song Norwegian Dream. It makes you wanting more. Never in my life have I ever considered a Vocal track laid upon a song by Jan Hammer. They really did an Amazing Job on This. I hope they have a long and Illustrious Career.

I stumbled across The Green Children -Encounter- Album last Feburary. I was looking for something different. I listen to a lot of instramental music ie: Tangerine Dream, Craig Chaquico, Jean Michel Jarre and Eastern Sun and I have been wanting to hear something different. I like Balligomingo and with that opened the door to The Green Children. The Voice of Milla Sunde is beauitiful and clear. I highly recommend the album Connection to your collection..
