About the Author

Sally McMillin Fairchild was born in Green Bay, Wisconson. Her love of words began when she and her sister got old enough to do the dishes. To lighten the chore thay sang and played word games. She knew at an early age that she wanted to write. But most of all she wanted to teach physical education. When college officals learned she was an epileptic, they discouraged her from pursuing that dream. She eventually found an outlet for her athletic prowess and verbal skills by marrying a widower with three active kids. Many of her "pomes" are woven around them, her Grands, and her late husband, Arnie.

Sally lives and writes in Melbourne, Florida

Sally McMillin Fairchild's book is a little (100- page) gem that contains something for everyone. Whether looking for humor (plenty abounds), philosophy, or, perhaps even, a little guidance you will find it packed between the covers of this perceptive book. I often caught myself thinking, "this is my life"! "Connections" is a must for every bookshelf.

In the current serious world, Connections brought a smile to my lips. I enjoyed it from cover to cover. Sally McMillin Fairchild has captured everyday life on the pages of this book. I find myself referring to it just to elicit the good feeling that it brings. You'll find yourself on one of her pages. Take a look.

This book is written by someone who knows how to laugh at life and at herself. It's a clever look at the ups and downs of everyday life, with some wise insights added. It's a great gift book.
