5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful collection of stories!, November 9, 2007
This review is from: Connections~Sheila O'flanagan~Sheila O'flanagan (Paperback)
I read this book while cruising the Caribbean. It reminded me a lot of Maeve Binchy's style (I mean this as a huge complement to the author). The similarities go beyond all the Irish-isms; characters from all different walks of life have their own short story, and there's one common thread that binds them. I love how it all meshed together against the backdrop of this upscale resort on Paradise Island. The descriptive style of writing, the variety of subplots (one for each chapter), and the depth of character development makes this story a fun and interesting read!
