I purchased this the week before I left on my one-month Europe trip. I used it in Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, and France with no issues. It's actually a great size for something that is equipped to do so much! It is NOT a power-converter, but an adaptor for just the plug head. Make sure you know this before buying...I did and am glad! It fit like a charm and was not heavy or obnoxious. I am very satisfied! Thanks!

I recently visited Australia where I promptly broke the battery charger I had brought with me. So I went out and purchased a new one. The new charger, of course, was equipped with an Australian plug! When I got home to the USA I searched all the local stores for an adaptor with no luck. All the adaptors available in my local stores were geared to making a USA plug adaptable to foreign outlets! So I went to Amazon.com and found this Universal Travel Power Adaptor. It's just great! I can now use my (Australian plug-equiped) battery charger here at home and anywhere else in the world! I am completely satisfied with this adaptor. (And it was very reasonably priced too!)

I took this with me on a trip to OZ. I didn't have any trouble getting it to work or plug in. I don't believe you can plug things straight into a universal, my experience is that you have to angle it a little. It is still working over here in Europe. Great price too!!

I used this converter in my hotel in London, Paris, and Istanbul to charge my cameras and to run my laptop without any problems. It's compact and takes very little room in a laptop carrying case. No problems at all. Highly recommend it for the price.

I ordered about 4 of them. Only one has really worked so far. I have to maneuver them to just the right angle - wiggling them in and out of the socket - for them to get power. Maybe it's the UAE but these have not worked.

I used this in Italy to charge my cell phone, computer, rechargeable batteries, and sonicare toothbrush charger and it worked great. I needed the larger adapter because my computer cord needed a ground slot. It worked better than those that my friends owned, because the pop-out plug pivots and can be moved to fit other things in neighboring outlets, or to avoid light switches(with are often immediately next to the outlets). A great buy.

I will admit that this converter does everything it claims it can do.

It also does all these things awkwardly. First inserting a plug into it requires an absurd amount of force in order to push back the red covers. I do mean absurd, my girlfriend could not plug in her laptop without me having to force the plug in for her.

All the plugs that pull/pop out feel very flimsy and there is no 'click' to them. Pushing the plugs that pop out back in is a pain as you need two use both hands to push the plugs in and then to lock them in place. They don't lock in place themselves.

Also as you may have noticed from the pictures, this converter does nothing for ground, which is not a big deal but is a feature that I consider lacking.

In short, this converter works, but it's flimsy and awkward to use.

Only worked overnight. The quality is crap. Wish I can get my money back, Amazon.
