Book Description

March 5, 2001
Conquer Fatigue in 30 Days is the ultimate health restoration program to maximize your wellness, energy and personal power. It is an easy-to-follow 30-day wellness program for people with all types of fatigue. This book applies to pregnant women, college students, work-a-holics, and those with obesity, diabetes, chronic fatigue syndrome, depression, heart disease, cancer, etc.

Conquer Fatigue in 30 Days offers daily activities to help the reader easily incorporate nutrition, exercise and stress management changes into their busy lifestyle. It explains how to overcome nutrient depletions that may have been caused by eating poor quality foods and the overconsumption of sugars, refined flours, soda pop and caffeine. The Sugar Blues chapter teaches you how to choose foods that balance your blood sugar and properly regulate insulin to prevent or better manage diabetes and obesity.

This book contains over 50 charts that show important information about health. For instance, a chart comparing three brands of prenatal vitamins shows what vitamins and minerals are absent in some brands and why they are important. Other charts show how to choose a multivitamin, nutrient depletions caused by medicines, and the roles of antioxidants and essential fats such as fish oil.

In the first and last chapters there is a questionnaire to grade your symptoms for severity and frequency so you can chart your progress. There are also symptom quizzes for low thyroid and adrenal activity and to assess normal intestinal function.

Information on how to achieve more normal digestive and intestinal function and proper detoxification is included in such chapters as Feeling Pooped? – The Answer May be in Your Colon, What’s Bugging You?, The 4R Program, Love Your Liver, and Detoxification & Colon Cleansing.

An exciting new laboratory test for the diagnosis and treatment of Candida problems, colitis and irritable bowel syndrome is discussed in What’s Bugging You? This test (called the Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis) is performed at home and shipped to a laboratory in Asheville, NC. It assesses digestion, absorption, and the ability of the intestines to adequately repair itself. In addition, the presence of both beneficial and harmful germs and yeasts is measured and cultured to see how to best kill off germs that may be affecting your health and intestinal function. Case Studies in this chapter show how each germ, and especially yeasts require very different remedies. There is no such thing as a sure-fire drug or natural remedy that will work every time.

Stress management techniques in Conquer Fatigue in 30 Days include breathing exercises, relaxation techniques, meditation, love and forgiveness, recreational exercises, weight training, posture exercises and chiropractic treatment.

Editorial Reviews

From the Author

I wrote this book to give hope to fatigued and/or chronically ill people who often have not been helped by conventional medicine. My autoimmune condition has certainly been something that has puzzled doctors in every profession. The timeless health principles of supporting the body to heal itself have enabled people of all ages and conditions to improve their quality of life.

She is also 95 percent healed from a long-term, chemically-induced autoimmune illness, of which fatigue was a major symptom.
