Conquered My Love, Wallet and Feet.,

The first album ever released by Mr. Englen, this Cd is a once in a lifetime thang. I'm just glad I was around to see the dance music explosion of the early 90's and late 80's. Almost every song on this album will keep your feet moving and your ears listening. Very good for parties, for a drive or just for lounging at home. DO NOT PASS THIS ONE BY because one day, it WILL be out of print. That's just how it goes with something so good. If you can find any Praga Khan releases from before this album was released, grab them in a flash because they are extremely rare and very good. And hey, if u don't like them, you know who to sell them to (me). The best song on this album is probably the major hit "Injected With A Poison" but "Double Function" is not far behind.

One of many great Praga Khan albums,

Praga Khan is simply a phenomenon. He is certainly the most talented guy ever to grace the techno/trance stage. A mention must also go to Oliver Adams (the techno wiz) and Nikki Van Lierop (aka Jade4U) who have mixed and sang on his albums and who are also part of the bandThis album is amazing. It will have you dancing around the room and will have you tappin' your feet to every beat. Praga's albums are nothing short of fantastic and seeing him perform live is one of the best things I have ever seen. He is without a shadow of a doubt the greatest performer ever!!!!

PK's grand entrance into the world. For the first time, there was a difference in techno/dance music that ...Technotronic, C+C Music Factory, etc. this album sprung up and moved ... all over the world and was an aural blessing 4me even at age 9!!! this is a true masterpiece and something only a [guy]would pass up without listening to first. there's something for everyone from the acid-craze of Injected, to the jungle field day of Double-Function to the high hunt of Gun Buck right down to the dance fever inducing Rave Alarm. be sure to blast this one very loud b/c that's the only way to hear it. and share... roll down ur windows and crank it up, everyone will wonder who ur playing! Check out the singles from this LP as well.

Very Good,
This review is from: Conquers Your Love (Audio CD)
I started listening to Praga Khan because of the Lords of Acid. It was much different than I figured, but I was presently surprised. This is a very solid CD with some great tracks. It's great music to put on loud and zone to. Otherwise, and more likely, put it on and let it move you. Great use of electronics and vocals.

Wail, Nikkie, wail,

I remember Rave Alert from a now-ancient compilation, one of the first techno albums I ever owned. You can't stand to this, you can't sit, you just got to move. Praga Khan, Jade 4 U, Oliver Adams and the rest of the Lords of Acid guest-gang didn't get to me with dirty lyrics and noise, but though tracks like the unforgetable "Inner Light" by Phantasia (reincarnated here as "Phantasia Forever", although with some more beat) and Rave Alert. Long live techno, long live female voices wailing spacy lyrics, long live the dance.

Why is it here? Because we need to dance. Ths music is moving, the music is wild, the music is physical! Buy it.

PragaKhan in his musical youth incorporates his aspiring talent but is tainted by, most certainly, the influence of the Lords of Acid gal. She wails and hoots and hollers throughout the whole album totally destroying every song worth your time listening to. The reason this album has 2 stars and not just 1 star is because PragaKhan has some excellent beats before she busts in wailing. If you like regular Lords of Acid, you'd probably really enjoy this album.

Phantasia FOREVER!!!,

Man, I just got this cd last night and it is so freaking cool. I loved Pragamatic and 21st Century Skin, but this one topped them both. I love Phantasia Forever. That will be my favorite song forever and I want Be My Drug to be my wedding song. Go Praga, GO!

Yeah, uh, tell her to shut up.,

The opening track, a clever spoof involving the abuse of a televangelist, was very promising, but it is not a sign of the vocally marred material to come. If this is a techno CD, let her and the Sneaker Pimps have the genre, and I'll move on to greener instrumental pastures. Oddly enough, I don't mind the Sneaker Pimps at all. This disc just irked me.
