5.0 out of 5 stars Victory or Death!
In this hard hitting installment, Riggs has his back against the wall when the Mechanoids return to earth with a vengence. A new series of tricks hidden up their mechanical sleeves, including a massive new warship, rocks Star Force back on its heels.

3.0 out of 5 stars Star Force Series - Conquest: Science Fiction or Fairy Tale?
I enjoyed the first three books and would recommend them. This installment had everything and more. The Jack of all trades hero, aliens, robots, an omnipresent superwoman, horrific villains, desperate battles and space marines fighting a mile under the ocean. As I dove into the Sea Story episode my disbeliever meter finally pegged out and I was compelled into a reality...

5.0 out of 5 stars Victory or Death!, December 16, 2011

In this hard hitting installment, Riggs has his back against the wall when the Mechanoids return to earth with a vengence. A new series of tricks hidden up their mechanical sleeves, including a massive new warship, rocks Star Force back on its heels.

Assassins, Mechanoids, Marvin, a fractious Admiral Crow with his own agenda and a host of other problems including earth governments, his upgraded girlfriend and a reluctant Fleet, dog Riggs' heels every step of the way as he attempts to save the planet earth from another attempt to enslave or annihilate humanity.

To my mind most similar to Extinction, the second book of this series, Conquest doesn't let up for a minute. Colonel Riggs is unwilling to give an inch when the Mechanoids are only interested in taking a mile and attacking with overwhelming force.

I recommend this book as another sterling addition to the Star Force Universe.

5.0 out of 5 stars Riggs is back! Robots beware!!!!!!!!!!, January 8, 2012

WARNING: The SATR FORCE SERIES is very ADDICTIVE. Conquest is the best book in the Star Force Series, but if you have not started the series... I advise you to get them all, start reading and then hang on.

I'm a 55 Y/O kid and just love fast paced Military Sci-Fy with lots of aliens, sexy women, powered battle suits and thousands of bad-ass marines wearing them. This series has it all. I can't wait for the next book to come out... Battlestation. It should be awsome! Mr. Larson spins a great story and the series just keeps getting better and better!

Now... Stop reading this review and go buy the books!!!
Later... Bear

5.0 out of 5 stars Maybe the best of the series...., January 21, 2012

My stubborn mind continuously reminds me that eventually Mr. Larson will fall short with his next book in this series, and once again it was disappointed. Even In some of the best book series I find myself asking, "Seriously?? This things still going??", but the Star Force series hasn't found that point yet and I'm starting to believe it never will. Larson finds a way to mix the perfect amount of closure and enticement for the possibility or probability of another book in the series and I just can't wait for the next one. If you've made it this far in the series I don't have to tell you about how well written and engaging these works are from page to page, full of excitement and development. I think what sets him apart for me is his ability to make me so excited to see what happens next but not by the standard methods of most page-turning authors that never let you "get the carrot" at the end of a chapter, always keeping it just out of reach, but by letting you get a bite or two of the carrot and then you finish it off, only to show you that just ahead is another carrot, even better than the first, followed by a cake, and an ice cream shop.... Well you get the picture. I don't want to pit this book against others in the series and crown a winner or loser because they're all so surprisingly amazing one after another, but I guess somebody always has to win just as somebody always has to lose, so Conquest gets the title. Please continue doing these wonderful things Mr. Larson and I gratefully await your next work in the series, and Thanks.

More action and then more action. Macro's, assassins, traitors, and more action..
Did I mention it has action? Michael Bay couldn't pack in more action than this.
Should have let Sandra take Crow's head, just saying. Something to look forward to I guess.

Loved it! This episode of the adventures of Kyle Riggs is exciting and funny, and kept my interest throughout. Riggs is a bit more falable and human (even as his body becomes less so). His battle with the Macros becomes more demanding as his resources diminish and he has to deal with doubters and traitors in his own ranks. Bring on the next book!

I enjoyed the first three books and would recommend them. This installment had everything and more. The Jack of all trades hero, aliens, robots, an omnipresent superwoman, horrific villains, desperate battles and space marines fighting a mile under the ocean. As I dove into the Sea Story episode my disbeliever meter finally pegged out and I was compelled into a reality check. This yarn had crossed the line from Science Fiction and had become a Fairy Tale. Fortunately I was able to use time travel and fly dozens of pages into the future where I continued on. Until now I have enjoyed this series. Hopefully this will continue on and without a "Once upon a time".

One of the best High-tech Sci-fi series I have read in awhile. With cool believable tech and action that will keep you reading late into the night, I have lost much sleep not being able to put these books down. Well written and very enjoyable.

Keep them coming B.V. Larson, and ill keep buying them. :)

5.0 out of 5 stars Great series!!!!, February 20, 2012
This review is from: Conquest (Star Force Series) (Kindle Edition)
I have read all of Larson's books so far in this series and I must say that I am very impressed! This author took me by surprise as I have never heard of him before now. I can't wait for the next book in this series to come out, Larson's action is nonstop and I mean nonstop. He reminds me of author Matt Reilly with all of the edge of your seat action. I give this series five stars and look forward to reading the rest of his books.
