Mind Over Matter -- Proven!,
This review is from: Conscious Acts of Creation (Paperback)
In striking contrast with many books focused on next-generation physics, mathematics, biology, psychology, or medicine, Conscious Acts of Creation combines a brilliant theoretical model with several rigorous experiments that explore the influence of human intention on physical reality - in living as well as inanimate systems. It is in these convincing demonstrations that the principle "as above, so below" comes to life. Even more profoundly, the book establishes that repetition of the experiments in given locales can dramatically increase the power of the locales to reproduce the results - with some locales retaining their conditioning or "charge" for more than a year! These findings lend plausibility to that which mystics know as "sacred space." A postulated theoretical model provides a launch point for interpreting the experimental results. Its major cornerstone is an eight-dimensional biconformal base space with two four-dimensional, Fourier transform related subspaces. One subspace corresponds to our everyday world, whereas the other subspace is a reciprocal or inverse "etheric" space - roughly analogous to k-space but with additional postulated properties including superluminal "velocities" (presumably in inverse units) and interchanged roles of electricity and magnetism. The model incorporates nonlocality, a scientific principle that may someday prove to be the underpinning for phenomena such as parapsychology and distant healing. Furthermore, the authors note similarities between their model and models proposed by other scientists, some highly prominent. Granted, the model becomes more speculative when it associates even higher dimensionalities with emotion, mind, and spirit. Even then, however, it remains consistent with various esoteric teachings, and it may yet provide the empowering mechanism for manifestation of intention (where the two subspaces, in some ways mutually symmetric, appear to play asymmetric roles) and in otherwise connecting science with spirit. Readers who disagree with the postulated model will nonetheless benefit from the authors' brilliant insights. Mysticism aside, the postulated "mind over matter" mechanisms include a possible role for variation in atomic and molecular ground state energies. The observed space conditioning is discussed in the context of gauge symmetries. Rounding out the model are the insightful discussions of augmented electromagnetism (which the authors associate with Qi), inner self-management techniques such as Qi Gong and Yoga, and even the existence of two phases of liquid water. In Chapters 9 and 10, the authors become futurists as they suggest possible implications of reciprocal space engineering for medicine, pharmacology, communications, and manufacturing. On the experimental side, the authors set the example in thoroughness and scientific rigor, although the in-depth discussion of the protocols as well as the order of topics may impact the book's readability. A mitigating factor is the brilliant introduction to gauge theory and the elucidation of several other topics including self-sustained oscillations, crystallography, and reciprocal space. In fact, the book is a mini physics course that presents various principles of electromagnetism, thermodynamics, solid-state physics, and quantum mechanics in a readable and understandable way. Also included is a brilliant discussion of enzymes, coenzymes and the electron transport chain as they relate to the experiments. Scientists, healers, and others who investigate or work with subtle energies will appreciate the authors' insights on repeatability of experimental results. In the mainstream scientific community, replication of results is a test for credibility; yet consistent results in healing, dowsing, remote viewing, and ESP are often elusive. Armed with successful demonstrations of space conditioning, the authors shed new light on this longstanding issue - although they discuss other factors, both geocosmic and human, that can also impact repeatability of results. Conscious Acts of Creation makes a convincing case that the powerful effects of intention and emotion can no longer be disregarded - in healing, in scientific research, or even in everyday life. The authors' findings may indeed have profound consequences for the concept of scientific "objectivity." More significantly, this book will take the reader beyond the realm of the everyday world and will expand one's view of himself or herself as a co-creator of reality. It is for this reason that Conscious Acts of Creation is essential reading - not only for scientists, engineers, and health care practitioners (both mainstream and complementary) but also for others who seek to maximize their human experiences. Conscious Acts of Creation indeed heralds and points a way ahead for "the emergence of a new physics."

Conscious Acts of Creation: The Emergence of a new Physics by William A. Tiller, Walter E. Dibble, and Michael J. Kohane.
Publisher: Quality Books Inc. pages - 418 I like and don't like this book. It's billed as a book written for physics, but also applicable to people into metaphysics. But the problem is that the writing for this book is not intended for a general audience. It's intended for an audience that has a developed awareness of the highly technical language of physics and math. As such many people into metaphysics will have a hard time reading this book. I did. I had to read and reread many sections to try and understand the language being used. A big part of the problem is that the organtization of this book's chapters is highly erratic. The authors jump around a lot. I actually understood a few of the final chapters, but only because the language was more general. I think it would have served the authors better to have put those chapters in the beginning of the text. Also none of the terms and acronyms were well defined or spelled out. A glossary would've done wonders for this book. In defense of the book the ideas being worked with are intriguing and the authors did perk my interest and keep me reading...the problem is that while this book could interest a large audience of people, it can only have a big impact on a much smaller audience because of the highly technical language, bizarre layout, and lack of cohesion. As such the potential good this book could do is marred by the inability of the authors to write in a more accessible manner. I did manage to understand a fair amount of this book, but I can only chalk that up to reading up a lot on physics and science. I only hope that the authors' other books are more accessible. Regrettably I have to give this book two stars out of five and recommend to the authors that they work with an editor who can help them with layout issues and with language (in terms of making the language more accessible to a wider audience).

The field of subtle-energy sciences is newly emerging and destined to change the way we think about reality. Tiller's book provides the theory and data to support such a paradigm shift. While generally oriented toward a scientific audience, the authors also include material that is accessible to lay-persons. The idea that human thought can affect physical reality is not easily accepted by conventional science, but Tiller and his coauthors go a long way to show that our consciousness influences the world around us in more ways than we know.

THE PHYSICS OF DEITY,
By
This review is from: Conscious Acts of Creation (Paperback)
It is no longer sufficient for scientists to simply deny the reality of deity outright without first considering the evidence. If mankind is to have any hope for a future, scientists must examine the God question rigorously and scientifically. In their book Conscious Acts of Creation (Pavior, 2001) William Tiller and Associates have in my opinion taken the first step in that direction.
This book is essentially a spiritual interpretation of quantum mechanics, and I believe it is the first attempt by mainstream science to explore the question of deity scientifically. Unfortunately, a great deal of the research described in the book is far too technical for the average reader, but the narrative summaries of their findings are astounding and easy to follow. The Authors tackle the God question as a legitimate area of scientific inquiry and deal with it as they would any other physics problem. We can only hope that Tiller and Associates will not be the last to do so.

Are we ready to be bitten by monopoles?,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Conscious Acts of Creation (Paperback)
I got this book a couple of years ago, hoping to learn something about "The emergence of a new physics" - as I am a physicist myself. After studying the book, trying to be open-minded, I came to the conclusions that are almost identical to those that I have found elsewhere on the net. These are:
****************** Are we ready to be bitten by monopoles? Here is a quotation: "Through the agency of a nine-dimensional coupling substance in the vacuum, called deltrons, the faster than light magnetic monopoles functioning in reciprocal space can interact with electric monopole substance functioning in direct space of physical matter. The vacuum phase transition mentioned above involves an ordered phase formation of magnetic monopole substance phase of R-space. These magnetic monopoles of R-space travel so fast that they 'write the waves,' thought to be de Broglie pilot waves, controlling the movement of particles in D-space. A symmetry principle, called the mirror principle is thought to operate between D-space substances and R- space substances so that the monopole charge singularities in one space produce dipole images through the mirror into the other space. Likewise, the monopole mass singularities in one space produce images through this mirror into the other space. Thus the negative negative monopole mass singularities of R-space are thought to be the origin of the 'dark matter' we currently detect with our instruments in D-space.(...)" If you think that these concepts are explained somewhere in the book - you may be surprised to find out that after you are through with the book, you will not have an idea of what the "theoretical part" is about. Now, let me mention that I wrote papers on magnetic monopoles and on "reciprocity" (including conformal symmetric spaces). Therefore, I suggest, that after we are done with KMS, signature fluctuactions, and topological field theory, there is a new field to be exploited in the space of hoaxes: D-spaces and R-spaces and monopoles that write the waves, thought to be de Broglie pilot waves.... All supported by PhDs. Conscious Acts of Creation is being madly promoted by the "alternative crowd" as "proof" that all their "you create your own reality" ideas are true. Conscious Acts of Creation, tells us: This book marks a sharp dividing line between old ways of scientific thought and old experimental protocols, wherein human qualities of consciousness, intention, emotion, mind and spirit cannot significantly affect physical reality, and a new paradigm wherein they can robustly do so! ...utilizing a unique experimental protocole on both inanimate and animate systems, that the human quality of focused intention can be made to act as a true thermodynamic potential and strongly influence experimental measurements for a variety of specific target experiments. After almost 400 pages of speculation and descriptions of experiments and very little math, we are told: Under some conditions, it is indeed possible to attach an aspect of human consciousness, a specific intention, to a simple electrical device and have that device, when activated, robustly influence an experiment conducted in its vicinity in complete accord with the attached intention. Thus, if they do it right, humans can influence their environment via specific, sustained intentions. [...] Some new field appears to be involved in the information passage that occurs between conditioned locales that are widely separated from each other in physical space. Even with transmitters and receivers located inside electrically grounded Faraday cages, highly correlated patterns of information appeared in the remotely located locales. [...] Although we don't fully understand them, we now have some new tools with which to probe the deeper structures of the universe and a new adventure is underway for humanity. It is important to note that the "intenders" of the experiments were long-time practitioners of Siddha Yoga and could thus be considered metaphysically "in tune" to some considerable extent. The question is: What did they accomplish? Based on the descriptions, it sounds pretty earth-shaking, right? Well, as noted, after almost 400 pages we find that the most significant result seems to have been changing the pH of a small sample of water.

A Giant Leap on Many Levels of Consiousness,
By
This review is from: Conscious Acts of Creation (Paperback)
In "Conscious Acts of Creation," Dr.s Tiller, Dibble, and Kohane have tackled the enormous task of proving the power of human intention using physics and relating the results of their experiments and their own conclusions in a readable form. One criticism of this book is that it is too difficult for the lay person to understand. However, the authors acknowledge that all parts will not be easily understood and offer a list of suggested chapters, a reading guide, for readers with limited physics experience. I found it to be both a primer on physics as well as a convincing argument for the existence of an energetic body, "the bio-bodysuit."
Admittedly, some parts are technical and not easily understood, but it is not necessary to understand all the physics to get the gist. On the other hand, the professional manner in which the information is presented with specific scientific information regarding each experiment lend credence to the validity of their arguments. Hard science meets spirituality. The truth is, physics can only be made so simple before it loses its validity. Physicists will appreciate the physics and lay persons will get what they can from the science, but also appreciate the case for a link between intention and our physical world. The 8 dimension world of the seen and unseen, when considered in the light of esoteric belief in heaven or a dream world or world of pure thought, makes perfect sense and is understandable whether the reader is a scientist, spiritually minded or both. One of the greatest benefits of this scientific study is the fact that it not only shows the existence of the power of intention, but also the limitations. With so many authors and success gurus cashing in on the so-called "Law of Attraction," and the re emergence of "New Thought," it is nice to see the power of intention tested scientifically and measured. In the end, this may be the greatest service the authors have provided with this very worthwhile book.

Excellent book, with thorough empirical evidence to prove the theory that conscious thought DOES create reality. I enjoyed the book because I am both a scientist and engineer. So technically, I could follow the book.
But for those who are not technically inclined, I would recommend his DVD with the same title, "Conscious Acts of Creation". The DVD is dry and in a classroom with Dr. Tiller lecturing. However, he explains very clearly the experiments in this book in layman terms. Though the DVD is filmed in a classroom with him lecturing, I deeply enjoyed his seminar. He is clear, concise and profound. For those who are seeking the truth about our universe, you will not be disappointed with this DVD.

This book is a scientific exploration of the interactions between spirit, mind, and physical matter. It presents extensive technical explanations of theory, data, and experiments having to do w/ the manipulation of physical matter by human intentions.
The author arrives at understandings that bridge quantum physics and eastern mysticism in an attempt to outline a new scientific paradigm that pays heed to origin of matter in awareness instead of vice versa. My favorite is the detailed explanations of how a 9 dimensional reality works, and how we are in a sense spirit operators in the lower dimensional reality who interface that reality through the brain and body machines in search of spiritual experience and transcendental knowledge. It is a mind blowing read, to send chills up the spine of anyone who is into this stuff, but it also a mind shattering read in that it is so thickly worded and technical that it is hard to understand. (Hence the 4 stars instead of 5) But anyway, loved it |
