5.0 out of 5 stars An Astonishing Book
This is a wholly remarkable book. I was put off just a little by the Introduction, and was afraid I was going to discover something a bit juvenile, or so New Age that I would be unable to take it seriously. Nothing could be further from the truth.

1.0 out of 5 stars disappointing
Maybe its me. Maybe i have read too many spiritual books. Reading the reviews for this I thought this book should be amazing. Sadly I found it rather boring and monotonous. Th author promises everything but bases his idea on a belief unproven..P. 2 "The point is nothing is greater than or exists beyond conciousness...its a fact". But its not a fact. Its just an idea. He...

This is a wholly remarkable book. I was put off just a little by the Introduction, and was afraid I was going to discover something a bit juvenile, or so New Age that I would be unable to take it seriously. Nothing could be further from the truth.

I've read hundreds of spiritual books, Buddhism, Taoism, Hinduism, Christian mysticism, A Course in Miracles, I mean a library of material. After decades of reading and meditating and self-inquiry, plus reading and doing a lot of stuff that's shallower and more embarrassing than what I'll confess to here, Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now, which I read about 5 1/2 years ago, gave me both fresh insight and tools leading to experiential Truth which helped me, however marginally, to "break out of the dream and into Myself."

Then came Nisargadatta Maharaj, Ramana Maharshi, Ramesh Balsekar, Byron Katie, Ken Wilber, Gangaji, and Adyashanti, among others. All of them proved to be immensely helpful. I'm enormously grateful to them all. This book is in that lofty league, and the author surely is breathing that rare air.

The beauty of this book is that it doesn't write down to you, nor does it lead you in endless intellectual circles. It'll tell you What's What, then spends 300 pages telling you that again and again in many, many brilliant ways. My hat is off to the Real Author; it's a genuinely remarkable achievement.

I'm also grateful to Amazon's suggestive features and the reviewers here. I'd never heard of either this book or this guy. Amazon led me here, and the reviewers pushed me over the edge. I hope I can do that for you.

When you are ready, this book will be astonishing. Until then, it will be gobbledygook. Buy it today. Try to read it. If you get it, so to speak, it'll change your life. If you've already more or less got this thing, but have no teacher, this book will help confirm that you're not crazy and let you fall on over the edge into the warm embrace of Reality.

Ultimately, it's always about Grace. The imaginary Little Me can't do anything to wake itself up, which means to make itself fall apart. Can an image in the mirror shave itself or comb its hair? Can it fail to follow directions from the thing casting the reflection?

If you read this book and don't get it, that's fine. Don't beat yourself up, and don't begin to deny what I've said here. This is Truth. It Is What It Is. Simply put it on the shelf for future reference, with the confidence that there are no mistakes. Pull it down from time and time and revisit it.

This book has the Truth in it. This is You writing to You about You. I could not recommend it any more highly. As of this writing, I've only read the first 60 pages and it's about the best $15 I ever spent. Good luck. Peace to You.

About three years later:

Since I wrote this review, Peter has become an active spiritual teacher and a friend of mine. He gives talks on weeknights in Phoenix and travels about the country as well. He's become a friend of mine, and I assure you that his book is worth your attention.

5.0 out of 5 stars A revolutionary treatise, May 9, 2007
This review is from: Consciousness Is All: Now Life Is Completely New (Paperback)
Philosophy student and communications field expert Peter Francis Dziuban presents Consciousness Is All: Now Life Is Completely New, a radical reexamination of the fundamental nature of reality and human consciousness. Though founded in the writings and talks of Dr. Alfred Aiken, Consciousness Is All is unique in its precept that consciousness is the sum total of all there is - that nothing exists outside of or beyond consciousness. Thus consciousness is not a higher Self, but rather the only Self. Consciousness Is All refutes the idea that there is a would-be secondary self seeking reunion with an indeterminate "god", bur rather insists that the One Self is inclusive Wholeness and Perfection, encompassing all. "The fact that the One Consciousness is all the consciousness there is, leaves no lesser consciousness to need a teacher or way-shower. This instant, Consciousness leaves no other to be plodding or plotting; none to need awakening or spiritualizing. One Self leaves no second self to co-operate (meaning operate along with) the One. Consciousness leaves no other to reject, or even accept what It already is." A revolutionary treatise, sure to prove fascinating to anyone involved in the study of metaphysical and spiritual theories.

5.0 out of 5 stars A Must Read, January 20, 2007
This review is from: Consciousness Is All: Now Life Is Completely New (Paperback)
If you are looking for an adventure, read this book. At the risk of sounding like so many other reviewers of various books that exclaim "After years of searching for Truth and reading dozens of books, this is THE book.", I do have to say that after years of searching for Truth, for "what it's all about", and reading dozens of books I have found that "Consciousness Is All" is the freshest, clearest and most exciting presentation of Fact, Truth I have experienced. You get the distinct feeling that what you are reading is very different from anything else you have read and that the author is Intellegence, Life, Truth Itself. There is an Aliveness and a call to attention that is stunning. If you are still reading this review, you owe it to yourself to get this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Truth.. simple and clear, June 6, 2007
This review is from: Consciousness Is All: Now Life Is Completely New (Paperback)
This book explains in a great simple way, that consciousness is all, that it is infinite and present without a past or future, without time and space and that it exists without a "personal" mind having to be conscious of it. It is an ideal book for someone who wants to understand truth just plain without religious, spiritual or even scientific background, although it includes them all. The truth of real being is so infinite and unlimited that it cannot be conceptiualized, found or even be experienced by a human mind. This book shows clearly why that is and goes step by step explaining what consciousness is and what it is not. Reading this book and changing your perspective from identification with the things one is conscious of (body, thoughts, physical things) to the infinite present being that you really are, may change the way you view reality.
I also enjoy the books by Neale Donald Walsh and A Course in Miracles and these books make even more sense now, after reading Consciousness-is-all.

Consciousness Is All is like a fine wine coming from the staff of Life. It is invaluable beyond importance. A book to cherish and re-read it is a constant reminder of the One Divine Consciousness we are. When we forget our true identify we get lost. The truth, as so beautifully written in this book and in Alfred Aiken's books and tapes will set you free.
What can be more important than the knowledge that heaven is here now?

By
This review is from: Consciousness Is All: Now Life Is Completely New (Paperback)
Consciousness is All is an amazing book! I read it first from cover to cover, and now am just opening the book to any page, any sentence, and WOW, Truth seems to jump off the page! Every line, every sentence expresses with amazing clarity the pure fact of the One Magnificent Life and Identity, Yourself. This is a book you will turn to again and again and with each reading, you will feel and know more of what words alone can never explain.

For so many years now,my life, as I've been taught and guided to live it....felt so bassackwards-I always knew something was profoundly 'off' but couldn't
unravel the entirity of it all. Bits and pieces, yes- but this book is the
first time I've heard it put so simply and completely in a language that I
can easily understand-- no esoteric mumbo-jumbo confusion here. No
prostrations -just the plain and undeniable truth which includes everything
as he leads the reader to perfect clarity.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best ever on the Present, or Presence, September 20, 2008
This book is the best you can get on the Eternal Now, the I AM, the Present, or Presence, as Tolle and others say, and it goes deeper. The chapter "Time Never Began" will blow you away, (or what you thought was "you"). The beauty of Eternal Truth comes through in a new way totally pure, unlike anything I've seen in the English language--and I've read so many spirituality books I can't keep track of 'em. They all assume that time began, and say that God is responsible for it. No way. We've always believed time is real, passing, that there has been a long past--and somehow this book manages to completely show the nonsense of all that. ONLY NOW IS!!! This isnt an exact quote but: "Not even the Present Itself has been before...A clean slate (of Consciousness) is all there is--permanently!"

Having seen other reviews, some readers feel this book is too repetitive--and it is repetitive, but mostly early on. It was helpful to me. (Maybe those readers are "advanced"). How many on the planet today will swear there really was a past? Practically everyone. So if bringing out this kind of incredible truth takes repeating, I'm all for it! The repetition lets you BE (or "taste" as Wilber says) Presence, because you can't get this by using the mind/intellect. Then it's no longer repetition, but BEING what you are, from cover to cover. It's only the mind saying it's repetitious, not Consciousness. Maybe the author wrote so it would be understandable to everyone, because from the human angle, "all of us" will have to get this someday, though there's really only the ONE, NOW. It's all right here. This is a timeless classic (no pun intended)! Couldn't recommend it more highly.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best of all the nondual genre, March 7, 2008
By

I have read almost every nondual book out there. Consciousness is All is the first one in a long time that is saying things in a different way than all the others. Same message, but seems more scientific and makes it most fascinating the way the Truth of your Own Nature is explained, telling what it is and what it isn't. Even though it is very precise, logical, and almost scientific in explaining our nature, it is done in a very entertaining and easy to understand way. I believe this one is blowing my mind!

If you are into advaita and the nondual teachings, I can't recommend this one highly enough. It is fun reading, no one has ever said it quite like this before and surely must be very transformational (maybe the straw that breaks the camel's back with a little bit of Grace thrown in!)
