Their best album yet, very risky to change their sound, but very very very INTELLIGENT! The songs are so amazing, they make you feel love, sadness, joy and simply compound perfection. Do not fear the unknown and buy this album, you will not regret it. And the bad review simply has no sentiment!

This new CD of La Secta is easy to listen to, have great songs
selection, very heart touching lyrics, great music composition
and a superb lead voice. This new material is more mellow than
previous La Secta material, but nobody will be disappointed on
this one. Every track on the album is excellent. Also the album
includes a song with a mixture of reggaeton.

My favorites on this CD includes three beautiful ballads: "Este
Corazón", "Locura Automática", and "Perdedor". Also I
love "Llora Mi Corazón", the track with reggaeton, and "Vida
Nos Acerca".

Regarding the review below by T. M. Felix Marin, I believe that
he expected a more "heavy" sound on this CD. He's not been
objective regarding this CD at all.

In summary, the CD is GREAT!!! "Consejo" is a must for your CD
collection.

Para mi esta es la mejor banda de rock en lengua castellana de los últimos 10 años. Sus letras, arreglos y música son insuperables. Aunque tocan baládas rock y tienen su toque pop tocan un rock bien sólido.

The best Spanish language rock band of the last 10 years. Superior lyrics, arrangements and music. Great rock ballads and hard rock with bit of pop here and there.

I'm not a music critic so I can't tell you the nuances of why this album rocks, I just know it does.

Amazon wants you to pay money for this but can't ever get you a track listing so you know what your buying!

Through the ten songs that compile the album "Consejo", you find a band amidst the despair and desperation of achieving sucess via the selling of records, and not through the quality of their music.
I applaud the trio for their intent in evolving through the utilization of new rhythms and the rising Puerto Rican movement of "reggaeton" (as in their collaboration with Lito and Polaco), but I am as well disappointed in the automatic craziness of pouring out the same kind of slow sappy songs, with uninspiring lyrics.
Faithful fans of this band will be pleased because is more of the same old stuff (many of the songs sound like their past radio hit, "Hey Corazon"),and the minimal injection of newness exists only for the devious intent of the economical gain that they wish to acquire. By signing their new record deal it seems they sold away even their common sense.
If one desires a true piece of "Consejo", here is one: invest in another album, Latin Rock has far better ARTIST (i.e. truly creative beings)to offer.
