This review is from: Conservation Biology: The Science of Scarcity and Diversity (Paperback)
This book brings a series of chapters that still nowadays are highly cited. I bouhgt it seccialy because there is a chapter written by Stephen Hubbell and Robin Foster about neutrality in tree communities. This ideias formed the basis of the The Unified Neutral Theory of Biodiversity and Biogeography (MPB-32) (Monographs in Population Biology). Moreover, chapters by Gilpin, Diamond, Pimm and Lovejoy enrich that book greatly.
