"Please, God, make it so. Not the part about Bobby Jindal only getting to be VP, but at least 90% of Kurt's crystal ball look into what could be, not what has been; how things could turn, not as they are likely to turn out right now. Schlichter's genius --and it is genius-- is to make it all possible based upon a single premise: That conservatives will play to win. A stretch of course, an enormous stretch, but not greater than that of 1776, 1789, 1860, 1944 or 1980. Read it and be inspired." - Hugh Hewitt, Author, commentator and national radio host

“Here's how the conservative movement won - from 30 years in the future. Kurt Schlichter's creative and fascinating take on how conservatives can achieve victory is an optimistic breath of fresh air in a dark time.” - Ben Shapiro, Bestselling author, conservative columnist and radio host

“This is a great read, provides a good way forward, and offers a new concept for how conservatives should be writing books about their future.” - Erick Erickson, Fox News Commentator, Redstate.com editor and radio host

“A fascinating read.” - David Limbaugh, Bestselling author and conservative commentator

“This book is exactly the electric jolt of inspiration that grass-roots activists on the Right need…. I’m energized and ready to fight!” - Michelle Malkin, Bestselling author and Fox News commentator

“Conservative Insurgency captures the spirit of my friend Andrew Breitbart with a no-holds-barred, bare-knuckle brawl for the heart and soul of our country.” - Dan Loesch, BlazeTV host and Fox News commentator

I was thinking that this would be a good guide for conservatives and republicans.

The point is, Kurt puts things into perspective very well.

I have been reading Kurt Schlicter's material for a few years now. Possessing a biting wit and brilliant mind, Kurt's writing never disappoints. In addition to his numerous op ed pieces, Kurt has previous self published 4 e-book ruthlessly and hilariously skewed “progressive” elites.

For his debut hardbound book, Kurt shows his fiction writing chops. Conservative Insurgency is written from the perspective of the early 2040's and chronicles how American patriots have taken their country back from the ruling “Progressive” elites. The interview format highlights several characters instrumental in bringing America back from the brink of the abyss. While passing reference is made to real people (Andrew Breitbart, “Vice President” Bobby Jindal, Chris and/or Dana Loesch [Loesch vs United States]) the people “interviewed” by the writer seems to be an amalgamation of real people. I can see many characteristics of those in Constitutional Conservative grass roots in the characters portrayed.

While a fictitious reading of how America was saved from its domestic enemies, the tome also reads as a play book on how Patriots can make the envisioned fictitious future a reality. I regard “Conservative Insurgency” as the sequel to Andrew Breitbart's “Righteous Indignation” in that it portrays the natural outcome of the fight Andrew Breitbart started. An outcome which is inevitable if we continue to fight.

In 'Conservative Insurgency' Kurt Schlichter reminds us that what is true in personal trials and tribulations is just as true when it comes to the trials and tribulations of a nation fighting the insidious rot of progressivism: defeat is only defeat if it is accepted.

Having followed Mr. Schlichter's work on Townhall, Breitbart and elsewhere, I know he never has nor ever will accept defeat when it comes to the county we all love and want to see preserved. 'Conservative Insurgency' shows us like-minded fellow citizens who recognized their power as such - citizens of a country founded on the power of the individual - to fight according to their strengths and abilities and thus do the most good where it was needed. It is hopeful but also cautious. Above all, it's entertaining as all get out.

Mr. Schlichter has one of those amusingly endangered progressives by book's send sputter "America doesn't deserve liberalism!"

No, no it doesn't. The call to arms of 'Conservative Insurgency' is to make sure it never does.

There are few books I can go through in a single sitting. There's been an Ann Coulter book, once. Then there was one of the dozens of Glenn Beck books that come out annually. Michelle Malkin's "Culture of Corruption" was another that kept me glued. But it's been a while.

Now Kurt Schlichter's new book comes out and I've found another book that I couldn't put down. A lot of it is a comfortable read since I'm familiar with Kurt's previous works, as well as his active participation with his followers and the leftists on Twitter. He, unlike so many other conservatives, has a good realization of the power we wield with truth. Truths that reveal themselves to individuals as they start to get curious about how they're being lied to.

They ought to read this book. But the title alone is probably too much for them to bear while they're still in the larval stage.

The point is, Kurt puts things into perspective very well. You're going to have to just read it yourself - nary a spoiler in this review. Just know that it's written by someone that understands what progressivism is, and what it is not. He knows that what looks like ineptness is actually intentional and serves as a means to an end.

Buy it. Read it. Tell others.

Schlichter has spun pure gold. This is a remarkable peek into what a national move back to traditional, conservative American values would/could look like. The characters were familiar and relatable, like you've known at least some of them for most of your life. The plot is simplistic but brilliant, much like true common sense. It really opens eyes and at least begins to restore faith that America is not already lost to the politically progressive cesspool we've been systematically driven to over the last 2 decades. This isn't your garden variety political read, this is special. If everybody read this book, we could expedite the turn around that Schlichter so brilliantly describes. This is a MUST read for any constitutionally minded American!

In this latest effort, Kurt changes course in several ways. Much of his humor is still present in this fictional, future history novel. However, it takes a more serious tone than his previous e-books.Though the work is more serious, it is highly entertaining.

The future history genre is not new to political fiction. Ayn Rand is rather famous for it, looking at her works from "Atlas Shrugged" to "Anthem" to "The Fountainhead". Robert A. Heinlein also used the genre to present his small-government, libertarian viewpoints. Heinlein went so far as to use the genre to push for many conservative ideals as well as a social morality shift that tolerated polyamory, bisexuality, and limited "contract" marriages. Within Heinlein's works is a ubiquitous endorsement of individual rights of life, liberty, property, and love coupled with success through individual effort. Heinlein's works, including his non-fiction "Take Back Your Government" may have influenced Schlichter's latest work. If so, Kurt accomplished this latest work while masterfully avoiding the "fan-fict" quagmire to produce a wonderful and original novel.
