Material is well written for someone new to options, but takes you as deep as you want to go into the complex possibilities of tax impact. If you have options, even if you have an advisor, this book is a great way to learn the basics and make sure you are getting the good advice.

Our team uses "Consider Your Options" as our bible in advising Incentive Stock Option Plan participants. It provides ALL the answers in enough detail to impress the CPA crowd, yet is easy to understand for the average participant. We're on our 3rd edition of the book, and will continue to update our copy with each new addition. If you're serious about Incentive Stock Options, this is the book to have.

This book did a good job of introducing me to all of the different kinds of equity compensation I had questions about, and did so in a wonderfully approachable "plain language" style.
