5.0 out of 5 stars this is one of the greatest albums ever written
welcome to the world of emo, these guys kick, slow romantic ballads to hard ear-bleeding guitar. unique harmonizations and funky tempo changes. Poetic and emotional lyrics exspress there view on God and life.

3.0 out of 5 stars Who's getting paid for this?
Sound is dated. Are any Dear Ephesus members getting paid for this, because not all of them are.

5.0 out of 5 stars Emotional rollercoaster from the depths of the heart, October 29, 1998
By A Customer
This review is from: The Consolation of Pianissimo (Audio CD)
I definitely reccomend this CD if you require deep lyrical content, moody - yet upbeat - sounds, driving guitars and soulfully sung lyrics from the bottom of the heart. Tracks to definitely lend an ear to are Behind Doors and Butter Never Bleeds. What an odd look at a bad date! Aaron Wiedersphan is an awesome lyricist/poet. Lu is also a tremendous musician. DO NOT PASS UP THE OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE THIS ALBUM. And get their newest album too! -->
