Nothing like #30!,
This review is from: The Conspiracy (Animorphs, No. 31) (Paperback)
I don't understand most people who have reviewed this book! THey might sound a little similar, but #30 and this one are nothing alike! This book was really intresting and moving. I liked it because it didn't have really big and boring battles, and was much more subtle and undercover. I thought the animorphs thought of some really intresting plots in this one, instead of just doing the same old thing. Jake's grandpa's death was woven into the story, with comparisons between the battles that his granpa was in and the battle Jake's fighting now, instead of just being there to make the plot work. This was one of the best animorph books ever and definitly the best Jake book ever.

You can learn a lot from this book.,

Although "The Conspiracy" was an excellent addition to the series, the plot does drag slightly. I enjoyed it infinitely more when I reread it. I suggest reading the book carefully and paying close attention to Applegate's ethical explorations. You can learn a great deal from this book. It discusses topics such as war, good and evil, and making tough decisions. It's well-written and contains creative plot twists that add excitement and intrigue to the story. This is definitely a stand-out, one of my favorites!

Truly the best one,

Of all of KAA's books, I truly believe that this one was the best. It debated the moral dilema of "one for the many". KAA did an excellent job of showing how that "one" would be affected. I encourage this book to all who like to question moral dilemas.

I've lost my love for Animorphs now...,

This review is from: The Conspiracy (Animorphs, No. 31) (Paperback)
I totally agree with the reader from Florida ( June 17th ). This is getting ridiculous. Every book has a great plot when you hear it and then in the ending, ABSOLUTELY NOTHING CHANGES!!!! It's so boring now - K.A. Applegate can't keep doing this. Her first books were utterly no doubt amazing but now you have to admit, it's just for the money now. We have to pay almost 8 bucks ( here in Canada after tax ) for one book and it turns out to be lousy. Tell me when the last book comes out - THEN I'll read it.

It was okay but I really didn't like it. It was WAY too much like #30. I was hoping that Tom's yeerk would die. I also didn't like it because it wasn't a big battle. The whole book revolved around Jake's family.

I liked this one because it had a great emotional level. I like it when this series remembers that it is still dealing with vulnerable human teens.

Jake has family problems,
A Kid's Review
This review is from: The Conspiracy (Animorphs, No. 31) (Paperback)
In this book, Jake's grandfather died. Jake's whole family must go to their grandfather's house for the fueneral, and for four days! Tom's Yeerk can't let that happen, so he invites his dad to come to the Sharing. Jake morphs falcon and Marco morphs gorilla and Marco sets of Jakes dad's car alarm. Jake's dad comes running out so his car won't be stolen, and so he isn't infested. With much grumbling about their being a very important Sharing meeting on Saturday, Tom says yes. When they get there, Tom and Jake discover a box that belonged to their grandfather and in it are papers and a knife. Jake knows that Tom will try to murder his dad. Read the book to find out what happens next!

I've been reading Animorphs one after another and I'm seeing a pattern forming. There's nothing new. K. A Applegate is a great Author, but she's dwelling on the feelings so much. Back in the Trilogy with David that was fine, but we know now that they are having a hard time with the Yeerks. Give them a little hope in your books. Thery're almost depressing. The only reason I keep reading is because I'M hOPeing you'll get out of your rut.

This book is very complicated in emotions and thoughts. Yes, I do agree it does sound a little like #30, but still it was nicely written. I think it shows how war can freak a person out wether it's with aliens or people.I hope I can someday become a great scifi writer like KAA. Keep writing. ANIMORPHS ROCKS!!!
