4.0 out of 5 stars A Live Rarity February 20, 2010
Format:MP3 Music
After viewing a video of what looked like a studio performance of Chris Squire performing "Hold Out Your Hand/You By My Side" on Youtube, I checked out the MP3's and lo and behold, a "live" version of the first two tracks from Yes bassist first solo album, 1975's "Fish Out of Water". The combined album tracks were rarely (if ever) performed live until this 2004 live set from Conspiracy, the Squire/Billy Sherwood duet continuing the prog-pop stylings of 90s Yes albums "Open Your Eyes" and "The Ladder". This is a credible reworking of the Squiretunes (which miss the 1975 participation of orchestration and drummer Bill Bruford with his snapping snare drum rim shots) and is a great collectors item for old school Yes aficionados. BTW, if you haven't checked out "Chris Squire's Swiss Choir", it is a highly recommended CD of British Xmas carols performed in a progrock setting (with ex-Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett) and a wonderful choir...from Switzerland!

3.0 out of 5 stars Playing sloppy April 30, 2013
Format:Audio CD|Verified Purchase
There is no characteristic sophistication. Not like Chris Squire. If you expect Yes, you will be betrayed. Only "Hold Out Your Hand" was great.
