I've known the author Kevin Butts for many years and was a bit surprised when I found out that he had published a book. I really didn't know what to expect as I didn't really know where Kevin's literary interests lie although Kevin had always been fascinated and interested in crime mysteries. Much to my surprise (sorry Kevin) I found myself instantly interested in the characters and found it quite difficult to put the book down. Having grown up in Boston I was quite familiar with most of the locations described in the book which just made it that much more interesting. Too many crime mystery novels get lost in over complicated plot twists. Conspiracy in the Commonwealth has just the right amount of 'conspiracy' to keep the plot going but not enough to burden the reader with keeping a score card.

GREAT job Kevin and I for one am really looking forward to a sequel.
