Conspiracy of Silence by Michael Mahonen, Carl Marotte, Stephen Ouimette... one of the most compelling movies I have seen in years.
4 boys go out on a Friday night, get drunk , kidnap and kill a tiny Native Indian girl. It takes 16 years for them to be brought to justice. We see Lee Colgan (Michael Mahonen) change from a spoiled Mamma's boy to a hard living, wife beating, drunk. Michael earned Canada's Gemini Award ( US Emmy Award) for his riveting performance. I wish it were on DVD as well as VHS. |
