ATL's Finest,
By "pizzlemanizzle" (Pittsburgh, PA United States) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Conspiracy Theory (Audio CD)
Finally after years and years of waiting T-rock came out with an album of his own. And personally I was not disappointed. From the first real track to the last you getting nothing but hard beats, filled with T-Rock's usual lyrical excellence. The boy just gets better and better with every line he lays. Unfortunately the album features more than its share of guests (which in my opinion is a huge problem with Rap and Hip-hop these days). The most notable are Skinny Pimp on "What U Know?", and Wyle Cat on the same song. The rest of the rappers from T-Rocks camp (with only a handfull excluded) fall way short of satisfactory. I'de hafta say that the last song, "International Terrorists", is easily the worst song Rock has ever been involved with. But besides that, the rest of the album is amazing. Best Tracks--Here It Is -Blood In Blood Out -What U Know? -Benz N Lacs -Mr Big Man (An entire song dedicated to DJ Paul of Three 6 Mafia. I just wish that Rock would lay off dissing the man cuz he owes EVERYTHING to him. He wouldn't be where he is today if it wasn't for Paul and the Hypnotize Camp) -No Remorse Anyways, if you're a fan of Southern Rap or Three 6 Mafia, pick this up. One of the best albums of 2002!

Tight CD,
By A Customer

Mane, this junt is soooo crunk. Anybody who knows T-rock knows that he spits straight game on a track. Even though he is not with Three-Six any more, his beats still hold up pretty well. I give it 5 stars because he murdah his tracks with his dope lyrics, plus he changes up his style from normal on one song to fast on another....TIGHT CD!!!!

"THE BEST LYRICIST IN THE GAME",
By Rocks In My Socks (Cleveland) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Conspiracy Theory (Audio CD)
T-Rock is undoubtedly the most talented lyricist I've ever heard--other than Tupac himself...I grew up listening to 3-6, and I have gotten tired of replaying all their albums prior to "Unbreakables." Rap 2day is bullsh*t compared to the classic material that was comin out in the mid 90's. 50 is a joke, and so is his butt pal, Game. Unfortunately, it seems that 3-6 is also goin down that route, with their new albums that try 2 sound "crunk." On the contrary, T-Rock's albums have only gotten better as of late, even after his split with Paul & J. His wordplay even surpasses Notorious fatboy--and that's sayin a lot. T-Rock is definately goin somewhere with his music, and "Conspiracy Theory" shows why...
