Editorial Reviews

Iron Chic's long-awaited sophomore full-length, The Constant One ups the band's ante, boasting nearly 40 minutes of their heartfelt, signature melodic punk, with big buildups, warm harmonies, and gripping climaxes. The band tackle somewhat altered subject matter from 2010's Not Like This with deeply embedded metaphors hinting at themes of communication, perseverance, and self-worth, making The Constant One no mere sequel, but rather its own set of cleverly cloaked ideas soundtracked by a bed of driving riffs and life-affirming, tremendous melodies.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great Pop Punk album April 25, 2014
Format:Vinyl|Verified Purchase
Fantastic pop punk album. This band has a great sound and some catchy songs. I'm no prude, but they could expand their vocabulary a bit and resist the urge to use f@#$ as such a catch all adjective/adverb/verb/etc....

I'm not sure if this is a popular opinion or not, but I think this album is a good bit better than Not Like This.

4.0 out of 5 stars Pretty Cool. April 9, 2014
Format:Vinyl|Verified Purchase
Rough sound, nothings too polished, which these days is rare!! Catchy, in your face vocals and heavy guitars - go out and get it!!
