I listen to a lot of music and I have to say, I have never heard anything like this before. The 23 Constellations... is a beautiful work of art. A perfect marriage of classical instruments (harp, percussion, horns, flute, clarinet, piano) and popular music (electronics, drums, harmonica, accordion). Big stars of the NYC downtown scene. This is not some heady academic eurocentric phd thesis music. This is passionate American music that hits you on many different levels. This cd is a truly creative find! A must have!
