This is a very useful collection of the founding documents which includes the: Declaration of Independence, the Articles of Confederation and Constitution. Best of all, the e-book version is well hyperlinked from a proper table of contents to: each of the Articles, Sections and the Amendments of the Constitution; there is a single link to the Declaration of Independence and links to each of the articles of the Articles of Confederation. There is an appendix that lists the order of Ratification for the first 13 states and the date of admission to the Union for the following 37. Lookup is especially easy and quick when searching the documents in e-book format (though having three documents in one book can cause a word or phrase search to take you to unintended documents.)

A couple of negatives: 1) the publisher uses a very large font for the titles, thereby forcing the kindle to be adjusted for the body text and being overwhelmed by the title, or setting the titles to an appropriate size and squinting at the body text, 2) each section is treated so separately that it gets a page break at its end, thereby stifling the flow of the document. Still - these are small points and relate to presentation, not content. There are free versions for the kindle, but the inclusion of the table of contents and the hyperlinks makes the small price paid a very good value. e-Book publication quality, ★★★★☆

This volume contains the documents, in their original form, which everyone that considers themselves to be an American should be thoroughly familiar with for without that knowledge it is impossible to know whether you are an American or not.
The complete Constitution with all 27 amendments are there, word for word. The Articles of Confederation (the forerunner of the Constitution) are there as well as the Declaration of Independence.
If you declare yourself to be a citizen of the United States of America then you should have an intimate knowledge of the content of this book down to the finest detail. This is a copy of the original versions of these documents as written and approved by our founding fathers!

The Constitution of the United States is one of the greatest documents ever produce--by a committee, yet!--but the past few years have rendered it of only historical interest. The current administration essentially ignores it and in time they'll take the original out of the National Archives and run it through a shredder. We now have a government that would horrify Madison, Jefferson, Washington, Franklin, and the other Founders: a government that spies on us, reads our e-mails, listens to our phone conversations, consipres to run guns to criminals, forces its way into every aspect of life, and violates the 10th Amendent with impunity. The disaster that has overtaken our nation in past decades, and most especially since 2008, has essentially made its restrictions on Federal power meaningless. The long dark night of tyranny has begun, and we've done it to ourselves.

Nevertheless, everyone should be familiar with its provisions, if only to hope that some day the federal government can be brought to heel and become again what it was supposed to be: our protector, not our master.

Everyone should have a copy of this and read it.
I went out and found a pocket size one to carry around all the time.
We as a people have gotten away from understanding the importance of the document and take what we have for granted.
Little do we know how quickly it can be taken away from us if we don not understand what the document represents and provides to us.

Every citizen of these United States should know our constitution (and other founding documents). This is a great and handy way to keep a copy with you at all times so you will never have a doubt about what it says. The notations are particularly useful since they highlight any clauses that have been modified due to amendments (sometimes for the better, other times not so much). In an era where the central government has become grossly bloated and ignores the constitution in a majority of its day-to-day activities, knowledge of the constitution is more important than ever.

I used this copy of the constitution for my Constitutional Law class. There are many versions of the constitution out for purchase. I like this one because it had a lot of space after every amendment to take notes.

Good paper back with a dedication page at the front which makes it good for gift giving purposes. Each page has one subject.
