5.0 out of 5 stars A rock solid study, February 5, 2009
This review is from: The Constitution of Electoral Speech Law: The Supreme Court and Freedom of Expression in Campaigns and Elections (Stanford Law Books) (Hardcover)
This book is a ground breaking tour de force--detailed, nuanced and full of insights. Pinaire's research combines a sweeping historical analysis of important Supreme Court cases with focused case studies of recent legal controversies. Best of all, he manages to untangle complex legal theories with conceptual clarity and an engaging writing style. I learned a lot from this book, and highly recommend it to anyone interested in the interface of constitutional law and free speech debates.
