This review is from: Constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran (Paperback)
This is a nice, compact edition of the constitution of the Islamic Republic of Iran as laid out immediately after the revolution. The translation is very readable, and is a fine piece of scholarship. There is, though, a very laughable introduction to the constitution written by the translator at the beginning of the text. That introduction should only be considered valuable if one wants to study the "spin" of the revolutionaries. Nice, simple, exact work. Perfect as a textbook or sourcebook for reference. |
