I got the Fourth Edition (2006) for CPE. This book assumes you are using a manual accounting system. By manual, I do not mean Quickbooks or even Excel; I mean a pencil with paper journal entries, journals and ledgers. In the final chapter the book discusses new technology that can help you increase productivity such as bar coding, CAD, smartboards and ....The Internet! At least one page is spent explaining what a bar code is. Don't waste your money or time on this book.
