I purchased this book to do some studying for an upcoming test for a job with an electrical company. I found the book helped, however the study book was harder than the actual test. So this may have been very helpful when I finally took the test, which I did pass.

Received the book swiftly. The printing in the book is kind of faint on some pages, could be of higher quality, but is able to be read. If you you are serious about passing the CAST test, this book will give you an advantage to passing the test. You must put effort into the book on your part also. If you're just going to skim over it, save your money. My son was going to be taking the test for an I.B.E.W. apprenticeship position. He read each section and took each test at least three times. He would read a test section and write down his answers and I timed him the alloted time for each test. We then went over the test after and re-read the areas where he had wrong answers. We had a lot of hours using this learning aid, But now he is a power lineman apprentice with the I.B.E.W. (He failed this this test a month prior to having the book when trying to get on with a utility company, you fail the test, you go no further in the hiring process) Note: Questions in this book are not the same questions in the actual CAST test. If you really are serious about wanting to pass the CAST this book will pay for itself 1000 fold.
