5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Construction Text and Reference, March 21, 2007

This review is from: Construction Superintendent's Operations Manual (Hardcover)
I am a project manager for a major San Francisco contractor. I've reviewed a lot of construction texts, and in my opinion this is the best text I've ever seen on the nuts and bolts of construction project administration. It contains very useful information for Superintendents, Project Engineers, and Project Managers.

We use the book as a textbook for a leadership class for those employees that may advance to the superintent level. It covers construction contracts, effective meetings, coordination, letter writing (with about 100 sample letters for all sorts of daily needs), quality control, change management, working in historic structures, and several other extremely useful topics.

Sidney Levy has authored several books on construction project management, and this is the best of the bunch in my opinion. If you're in construction, the money you spend on this book is money well spent.
