About the Author

Carlos Merriweather, Award winning curriculum designer, author, founder of T.E.T.M.P. (The Education Through Music Program) and co-founding consultant at http://ArtistDevelopmentCoaching.com motivated students to move from the back of classrooms blowing smoke out of windows, to the front of the class and learn. Students went from having no life plans, saying, "I enjoy hurting others because NO ONE CARES." to being compassionate, sharing their grades and college plans with him. For designing and implementing his education program, "Carlos Merriweather Day" was proclaimed in his honor by Mayor Jerry Abramson. Carlos has a business degree from Indiana Wesleyan University, and earn two certificates from Bostons Berklee College of Music.

This author's devotion to youth is impressive. He obviously cares deeply about guiding youth in a positive direction by changing mindset! The story of young Consumine will definitely help young people (and especially those who enjoy music of any kind) to see how they have the power to make their life what they want it to be, by making positive choices...actions that promote love and compassion to all. Great Read!

This book is a wonderful story about TRUE LOVE! Not the love that wants to posses - but the LOVE that is compassionate and caring for one another. Great stuff and I can say that it was hard to put it down because it is such a great story. This book is full of meaning, surprising outcomes and LOVE!
Very empowering! Thanks to the author!

This is the true definition of a "LOVE STORY"
This book speaks to the amazing concept of love and compassion... Its about winning people, not just fans, but people... by their hearts and not by what they hold in their hands... We as artists tend to jump on social networks and scream "BUY MY CD!" And I had heard how ridiculous that sounded but it wasnt until I started reading this book that I truly said to myself, WOW!!!! I SOUND SO RIDICULOUS WHEN I SAY THAT!!! The book gives tools on how to handle real life marketing situations and when you read it love just jumps off the page...

I am so happy a friend told me about this book. I never expected to see life from the perspective of a young woman. What a hoot. Girls are really different from boys and Carlos Merriweather has captured the beauty of both in a tale about the power of love. Inspirational and uplifting--you can't get any better (or more fun) than this.
