Like James Ernst, I got hooked on the idea of contact juggling before I knew there was a name for it, and by the same movie, Labyrinth. Most of the book is about the basics and some more sophisticated contact juggling, but at the end, there is a basic tutorial on traditional juggling, plate spinning, Devil Sticks, and more.
The author walks you through the techniques with detailed instructions and text, and provides instructions so good that you really could learn from the book (with much perserverence). This book and a three inch ball can start you down an absolutely habit-forming path to entertain others and yourself. Big fun! E. M. Van Court
