This review is from: A Contagion of War (The Vietnam Experience) (Hardcover)
This is a good version of the events, but the statistics of dead and wounded are wrong due to the Army's desire to down play the tremendous losses the 173rd Airborne incurred at Dak To.The constant question of why did we fight against communism in Vietnam is answered by the statement it was communism, and the communist nationalised the oil wells, rubber plantations, and opium plantations(morphine production) etc, etc! The west then placed trade sactions against the communist that only hurt the American People.
