I really liked this book. It was fast-paced and kept my attention. Maurice and Nekole were something else. The end was suprising; especially the thing with Sirron. I'm 3 for 3 with Mr. Carter!! I can't wait for your next one! Keep 'em coming!

This was a great read! I read this while on vacation in two days. My kids was on the rides a Disney World while I was reading LOL. Contagious was a great name because it was truely that!

Quentin carter has done it again another bestseller, Contagious was a bit different form Hoodwinked and In Cahootz, Contagious shows the creative side of Quentin Carter, I'm a die hard fan of Quentin Carter and I give this book 2 thumbs up and a 5 star rating, I couldn't put the book down;Quentin don't stop being you keep your writing real as always......

Beautiful Nekole Mitchell leads the dangerous life of a stick-up kid. After a robbery gone bad, she leaves California in search of a fresh start. In Kansas City, she becomes involved with best friends Geno and Maurice. Nekole quickly infiltrates their circle of friends and everyone becomes a pawn in Nekole's deadly game of chess. Once the game ends, there will only be one left standing.

I'm a huge fan of Quentin Carter, but this story was just ok. The entire story, except for the ending with Sirron and Mustafa, was way too predictable. Nekole was not all that venomous. The so-called hustlers and players she dealt with were way too gullible. Based on the synopsis listed on the back of the book, I thought that the story would be much deeper than it was.

Once again Essence Best Selling Novelist Quentin Carter proves that he not only deserves to be in this arena, he was born to do it!!! Contagious was fast paced and filled with excitement. Maurice Jones was so real I found myself hating his guts and Nekole Mitchell proved that what's good for the goose is good for the gander. From murder to the bedroom I guarantee you'll turn the page to see what's coming next. Mr. Carter I have one thing left to say, when is your next one dropping?

This is my 3rd book I read by Quentin Carter and it will not be the last. All of his books thus far have been nothing but excellent. This book was a rollercoaster kept you on edge the whole time, if you have not read his books PLEASE DO NOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS OFF DA CHAIN EACH ONE GETS BETTER AND BETTER.

Quentin Carter delivers once again with "Contagious" This book is full of hot sex and lots of DRAMA!!! Nekole and Maurice are both too much. When they get tgether it just can't be good. This book is a must read. Triple Crown is about the business!!! Loved it!

Carter man just keep on doing your thang. After the first two novels, I didn't think it could get better, how wrong I was. I could not put this book down. Maurice, Neckole, Sirron along with the others. When its all said and done, no matter what u do, u will pay for your misdeeds. OK, Now QC I am waiting for the next book.

This is the first book I have read by Quentin Carter and I was impressed with how fast the story was.Not one time did I get bored.Each chapter left you wanting to read more and more.Maurice was a player and used women to his advantage and then he met his match in Nekole who was just as trifling and dirty as he was.Definitely a good read.I would recommend it.Quentin Carter,I look forward to reading more of your work.

I am a huge fan of Quentin Carter's and I must say this book is my favorite. Don't get me wrong, Hoodwinked and In Cahootz were both excellent; however, Contagious shows Quentin's versatility as an author. Contagious is something for both men and women.

Quentin has identified some real life situations - women getting played and just how much a woman would put up with for the love of a man, or what we consider love, but then it goes to the other side, from the male perspective ... being opportunists and the circumstances that follow once the tables are turned.
