I got this item to use in a personal first out bag at work. I am a veteran EMS provider with 10+ years of experience. I have found this Pulse Oximeter to be very slow to obtain a reading and often was off a couple percentage points when compared with the LifePak 15's pulse oximeter when we transferred the pt to the unit. I know these finger units are generally not as accurate as the larger units, however in my time in EMS I have gotten to use several different fingertip oximetery units and regretably I will have to say this is probably the worst example I have ever had the chance to utilize.

Low quality product. It takes to long to measure. It doesnt seem to last to long. You get what you pay for it

The product I received was the one pictures, but is cheaply made. The screen is scratched up, as I had read in other reviews, but I don't think it had been used. The packaging appears brand new. You get what you pay for, so for this price I am pleased with the product. I am a home health nurse and it does seem to read accurately compared to other more expensive units.

The face of the pulse oximeter that I received was all scratch which told me I bought a used oximeter not a new oximeter that I ordered. It was not worth my time and money to send it back.

I purchased this for my child who has asthma. It is very slow and sometimes doesn't even read before turning off, even adults. You have to hold perfectly still for it to find a pulse at all (which is a problem for many). We tried to stick with it, trying his thumb instead and after a very frustrating year of use periodically just purchased a new one. I tried it on him out of the box and he (at 7) said "This one is so much faster Mom! It's great!"

Normally I don't write reviews of products, but because of the poor performance of this product I felt compelled to comment.

First, upon receiving the oximeter, I notice that the face was scratched leading me to think that the product may have been "used". Second, and a minor complaint, it was the wrong color. I ordered black and received blue. Not enough to return it given the payer having to foot the cost.

I tested it, it worked. I put it in my day pack and forgot about it until yesterday. On a hike I tried to get my pulse/ox and the unit did not work. Cheap batteries I thought and dropped it back into my pack.

Today, I tried two different sets of new batteries without success and decided to contact the seller addressing what I might do. I received a reply tonight (thanks for the quick turn around)but their reply was essentially of no help.

Bottom line, buyer beware when purchasing this product. Make sure upon your receipt that the product is new (another reviewer also had this problem. Number two, use it as much as you can in the first 30 days to insure that it works.Third, the old axiom, cheap ain't necessarily good, fits this lemon to a "t".

This is not a quality pulse oximeter. It is not at all what it appears it is. Looks cheap. I have no faith that it would work for what I need. Go to Walmart and buy one for $40. You'll get much better quality and a cute case.

I was really pleased with the way it worked the first time I used it. However, the second time, it did not even turn on. Changed batteries, but no luck. First time I have ever had to return a product to Amazon!!!!!
