Had gottent this dish a while back for my little terrier who likes to snarf her food. Got this one for my lab to slow her eating down a little. Works pretty well for her. Makes her take smaller bites and chew more than eating out of her regular bowl. I really like the fact that the bowls are made of food quality plastic and you can put them in the dishwasher. Great product!

I bought this bowl to counter the problems I have with the "Brake Fast" brand, of similar design. The Contech stated it had no slip functionality -- that is does not slide on the tile floor while your dog eats from it. Well, mine showed up with 2 of the rubber feet missing and it slides all of the place. It also quite small. Suggest that until Contech and or the other leading "slow down and eat" bowl makers get a clue that these things slide all of the floor -- and do something about it (like put a real rubber no slip ring around the entire bowl bottom perimeter), that you will need to modify the bowl not to slide around.

Even after using this dish, my dog still had trouble from eating too fast. I consulted my vet and he suggested I use a dish with a stand that raises the dish off the floor and feed canned food or home-prepared food instead of kibble. I tried that instead of this dish and my dog hasn't had any more problems with eating too fast.

I think the 'concept' is wonderful...however, for a 14# Shih-Tzu that 'inhales' his food...this is not working very well. I still have to give him tiny 'portions' to slow him down. I do believe the sections are too large for a smaller dog. I happened to leave the bowl down after he was finished eating one day and he chewed all three raised sections....so....the bowl is now ruined and useless to him....and to me. Wasted money on this one...sorry folks.

My Dog has been using this bowl about one month now and it has indeed slowed his eating pace.
This bowl stays put on a mat and does not move around the floor.
It washes easy and is good for short muzzeled dogs.
I do recommend this bowl.

My small 10 pound Pug loves this bowl. She would gulp her food from a standard bowl & throw up almost after every meal. We examined all products of this type & found this one superior to the others due to its design, weight & non-slip nature. It will take about a week for your dog to get familiar with the bowl.

I have a Boston Terrior who gobbles his food like he is starving all the time. But Of course he isn't. He takes in soo much air that he farts a lot . I thought that this dish would be the answer to his problems.

I was so disappointed, as it doesn't even work at all. I put the food in the dish and he just gobbles the food in each little compartment. The Center piece doesn't bother him. It's not Tall enough to block him from just going to the next compartment, and it doesn't make him use his tongue. It's a waste of money.Very expensive for a piece of junk. Don't bother buying this unless you like throwing your money away.

I was hesistant to buy the drink better and eat better bowls since they seemed so pricey. My puppy is 30 pounds and I bought the medium size bowls. They are wonderful... it slows her down from eating and drinking to fast! I am very happy with them!

i have a french bulldog puppy, and this bowl seems to have slowed down her eating. I wish it would slow her down even more, but it's pretty good. It's also great that it's dishwasher safe on the top rack. Great product, and i would recommend it to anyone who has a fast eater.

Very durable & pretty dog bowls, but only slows down my dogs eating a little bit.
