I'm a jewelry student who got this book from library just to look at the pictures for inspiration. I ended up reading from the first page to the last. It's very well written and full of useful information. Not just names of famous jewelers, but info about techniques, relationship between jeweler, seller and buyer, ways to find inspiration, etc. I consider buying it for myself. Sure this book has been published 20 years ago, but it's not one of those books that you buy and never open.
