The stripes and plaids really add zip to col weather quilts.
The applique placements are spot on and make it very easy. The colour coordination is lovely. I really enjoyed this book; and found it very inspirational. Remy.

Appliqué is a SCARY for some, but I think the Piece `O Cake way is so easy anyone can do it and have lots of fun. Their books are always very well illustrated and have easy to follow instructions and this book is no exception. Lots of good information, even for piecers. There are a couple of pieced quilts and lots of pieced with appliqué. They offer techniques for fusible appliqué as well, an easy book for beginners. I enjoyed this book because of their use of fabrics and I love plaids and stripes but their usage of these types of fabrics is very unique. This is a perfect book for anyone interested in easy appliqué. I encourage you to get it and TRY appliqué, it is not so scary!!

Very clear project instructions and lots of great pictures to help with your own design choices. Plus it was very quick delivery so I could enjoy it right away.
