The scale is easy to use and precise. I have use it in the range of 0-1kg (0-2pounds) with calibrated sample weights and measures have a max. error of 3grams.

Those are the 2 more important things for a kitchen scale (in my opinion), however, I don't give 5 stars because of the price, which I think is a bit high for the materials used.

The timer function is useful.

PS: I think the pictures make the scale look bigger than what it actually is. Check the dimensions before ordering! (the glass tray is a bit more than 7inches in diamater)

This scale is very sleek in design... Which I suppose the maker did to encourage people to leave it out on their counter, since they also built in a 'clock' feature. Which is impossible to turn off.

I've found its better for scales to be semi-protected from bumps/bangs to extend their life. So mine dutifully tells the time to the inside of its box when not in use. While I have yet to go through the batteries, this does seem awfully wasteful in an eco-conscious time such as this.

The clock/unable to turn off would be forgivable, if the scale were particularly useful.
You can set the tare, which is great for measuring in bowls... But the internal 'timer' that makes it revert to clock mode is WAY too short. I'll tare up a mixing bowl, add some ingredients.. decide I need more, start chopping, and realize it's lost my measurement. I have to EMPTY the bowl and start all over... or, as I've been doing lately, writing down the measurements. Then when it reverts to clock, I re-tare, add the new ingredients, and add the two weights.

Far more work than its worth.

For over 45 years of marriage my wife has never needed a kitchen scale. Now with watching Food Network.....it has become a necessity. Great look, works great and Zero's out for accuracy.

I love this scale, it looks nice, is accurate, and stores easily. I wish it didn't time out as quickly, though.

This scale seems to work well. It takes up very little space on the counter, is easy to clean and has a look that works well with my kitchen. I also like that it has the zero out option so I can put a plate or bowl on it and with one touch of a button it zeroes out so I can just measure my food.

It works well and is easy to use. I wish there was a way to turn it off as there is a clock on it. I'm not sure why I would need a clock on my kitchen scale but there's not way to turn it off unless you take the battery out.
Also, if I was to purchase another kitchen scale, I would make sure it came with a bowl to put the food in as opposed to a flat surface.

All in all, it's a good product and does what it says it does.

I was highly disappointed with this scale. You are unable to read the readout while there is a larger bowl on the platform(necessary when weighing 7 or more lbs at a time). Also, the ounce readout is only in ounces, when you have over 7lbs it becomes impossible to quickly calculate how many pounds and ounces you have, as your reading will be something like 135 ounces. My scale also did not weigh all the way up to 11 lbs, instead stopping somewhere around 8 lbs.

I love this scale!.. so attractive that I leave it out on my counter all the time & doesn't take up that much space. Very useful in weighing foods (by ounces or grams) ..and really like how you can put a container on it, zero it out and only food weight shows & NOT the container weight. Great item for Weight Watchers and got it for $10 cheaper than scale they sell at WW meetings.

Nice scale. We use it daily for proper food servings and it is easy to use.
